Hi, my account also cannot login. It got to the point where I don’t even try anymore, I’ve just started using another account.
This is fairly unfortunate since I have so many skins and co-op commanders on this account.
Edit: I see the forums aren’t linking to my account for some reason, it’s this one: Profile Summary - Cereal - StarCraft II Official Game Site (starcraft2.com)

Hello, I have this exact issue. Only with Americas servers, all others have no logon issues. I have backed up and removed the StarCraft II folder and contents in My Documents and completely uninstalled/reinstalled. My issue is exactly the same as OP. An additional note is that opening the editor requires me to download dependencies again every time.

Yep, I’m getting it as of today as well - it was fine last night, and now I haven’t been able to log in at all. Restarted, am currently going through a full re-install again, and it’s constantly hanging on “connecting to battle.net services”. I’m consistently unable to get through on the US servers, but I can get through on EU just fine.
This is the account Profile Summary - Miro - StarCraft II Official Game Site I can’t get onto, and due to the migration from SEA servers, I can’t get onto my alternate account either.
Edit: I was able to log in again exactly once after doing 2 reinstalls and fiddling with my IP, only to be unable to log in again.

I’m receiving this issue specifically only for when I attempt to go into Starcraft 2

I am also experiencing this issue. This happens when trying to connect to the US servers.
I was able to get into the game earlier in the day, but no longer able to connect now at night.
I am not sure if this contributed to the problem but I noticed there was a prompt to update the battle.net launcher after gaming earlier in the day. However, after updating, I can no longer connect through now at night.
For reference:
Battle.net version 2.12.1.13458
Battle.net Update Agent version 2.26.0.7661
Scan & repair and Reinstallation did not work.
Guys, if you can’t login to US server in spite of attempting several times,
try logging in to KR or EU server then log out and retry logging in to US server.
It’s just a temporary solution, you Blizz team never listen to us
even though I complained about this issue since October 2021!!!

As of today, I can no longer login to my main account because of this (America server). Thanks bLiZzZaRd! I didn’t buy literally all the war chests, co-op commanders, or collectors editions or anything. It’s totally fine. I definitely didn’t want any of that stuff. You know what? Why don’t I just go dust my entire hearthstone collection, because who cares about the hundreds of dollars a year I spent on that stuff too?
Edit: Region switching hasn’t worked for me for either KR or EU. Also, I actually got in after a few hours of restarts.

+1 on Americas account.
I could log myself into Asia server though.
Edit: Didn’t work when I switch back to America server. Managed to get into Europe too.

Hey all,
Thank you for reporting this! We were able to reproduce the error when attempting to login to the Americas region, and we are investigating the root cause.
As some of you have noted, you may be able to work around the issue by switching to a different region, and then back to Americas.
We will update this thread when we have more information.

Can confirm. For months now i’ve had the “connecting to blizzard services” window pop up, but it always has connected eventually, normally only taking 5-10 seconds, so nothing more than a minor inconvenience. As of today, nothing. It will not connect after a scan and repair as well as a fresh install.
Edit: Switching servers also did not work, although I can connect to Korea and EU if I want to play with 300 ping
Edit 2: Have now switched to 4 other sc2 accounts I have, and now they ALL have this issue, and I am unable to log into NA on any account -_-

Long time fan and player of the game, and I funnily enough have been studying on off-racing and getting better with Zerg quite a lot the last couple days. My Elite AI games have been going well, but no wonder I had such issue with playing any unranked games against actual humans. I got dc’d and booted from my first game by roughly 6 minutes in. 2nd game wasn’t much better.
I could then immediately jump into any other game, even one as heavily played as say Apex Legends, and have not a single stutter within my own connection to their server, or any other website domain for that matter.

I’m glad to hear that I’m not the only person having this problem. I’ve had it in the past and support managed to help me resolve it but now it’s rearing it’s ugly head again unfortunately.
I was playing games on the US server last night without issue ~10:30pm PST but woke up to this issue… weird.

Same here. Get to Authenticating = Connecting before it times out and asks if I want to play offline. Was playing around 2300 last night without issues on Americas.

I’m in the same boat. The “Connecting to blizzard services” thing has been happening for months now, but it always connected. I have noticed more input delay in my matches as well since this started happening :/.
