Can't connect to any online games (2v2, coop, etc.)

Games loads successfully tells me the game has been loaded successfully, starts to connect and then hangs or gives me the orange error box.
Things I’ve tried:

  • repair tool on sc2
  • ensured region is americas (this is correct for me)
  • ensured firewall isn’t blocking sc2
  • deleted public test file (it wasn’t there to begin with)
  • tried beta
  • did several clean installs.
  • released/refreshed my ip
    This is a new computer, have no issues with my other computer…so I don’t think it has anything to do with my network. New computer has a 4tb ssd, Radeon RX7900 and a 57" ultrawide monitor…I can’t imagine my specs have anything to do with this but thought I’d throw this out there.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

ive noticed really bad lag on login where it almost fails to do so but after a couple secs it will, and then load slower than dirt into the menus and for ranked to come up. Its definitely being weird today. i havent had time to play a game and test it but yeah something isnt right.

Same issue here, wanted to play the game again after what feels like a decade long hiatus and I get the error message too.

I have a ticket in with support about the same issue: They replied with the suggestions the OP has already tried, and I did try them – no fix. The really stupid thing is that the ‘Battle.net service’ is working for all my other Blizzard games – WoW (Retail), WoW classic, SC1, etc. – just not for SC2. Following . . .

its a server issue, they were having problem with authentication 2 nights ago when this all started. reinstalling wont fix the issue, as in my case i havent downloaded any new updates and nothing changed on my end in the last week. Again this is a server issue.

I got a second response from Tech Support. They’re like /shrug good luck buddy! Totally ridiculous and aggravating. (That was yesterday afternoon.)

This morning, it seems to be working again.
