Cannot load custom maps or join lobbies

Whenever I try to make a custom game, none of the maps want to load. When I head over to the melee tab, only one or two maps load, and I can’t create lobbies. I also cannot join my friends’ lobbies, I get stuck on “Joining Lobby…”.

I have tried rebooting the game, my PC, my network and nothing helps. I have tried changing networks, I have turned my firewall off and as suggested by another forum post, I have tried leaving all chat rooms. Nothing worked. I’m completely baffled by this and any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

Try scan and repair files by opening your battle net app to select Starcraft 2. Click on the gear icon that is next to the blue play button. It will be the fourth one in the list. Wait and try again. This works most of the time if the problem still remains then we know its outside.
