Can you imagine if terran had a unit that could instantly destroy an entire protoss army in 0 seconds and requires 0 skill?

if terran had the disruptor you know protoss players would have a hissy fit, but it is perfectly ok for protoss to have it?

I can, the Ghost can do just that, from stealth, and not even allowing the opponent any counterplay.

well unlike with protoss you actaully need to build an army after you emp.

ok just because you actually have to split and cant just f2 ball A-move doesnt mean there is “no counterplay” but overall you probably could just f2 A-move vs emp if you have decent macro.

What a troll. So you say 0=100? (Marrine vs Zealot with depleted shield) go back to school kid

Is there a hidden competition of Terran Players Who is the whiniest?

Did it occur to You that the races are Desiged differently? Protoss has not the strength in numbers but got spellcasters to be able to defend vs the massive amount of units that zerg and Terran Players have. Terran is designed in a way that the most basic units can be Played until lategame but the downside of it is that You need a little Bit more micro.

Battlecruisers literally do this. First you try to stalk me in game AGAIN, and now you’re back to posting stupid things like this AGAIN? You need to be permanently removed from this game entirely.

Real question, how do you split against something that is instant?, EMP is not like banelings that are not really fast, disruptor shots that are somewhat fast but not really numerous or storms that are highly visible and gives you some seconds to move out.

Unless you are pre splitting and holding position, there is no way to avoid EMP, because P units have big radius, any small clump of units will be effectively EMP’ed at the moment they attack or move.

Don’t waste time with imbeciles. To put things into perspective one has to take into account the relative immobility of Protoss army compared with Terran. So, the imbecile is whining about Disruptor: then for EMP to be on the same League, it has to have a 3 second (Disruptor has 2) delay.
But don’t bet in the imbecile to understand…

I imagine they have a meeting every Monday to figure out who can write the dumbest post and then whichever one picks up traction gets liked by multiple alt accounts and gets prize for best TCF post of the month.

This is the second strike. The first and unrivalled one was: “creator of whine content”.

You can throw 100 EMPs and all you will accomplish is the shields going down, no health will be touched in the proccess. Standard PPP nonsense.

You cannot evade EMP, no matter what, it comes from a Cloacked unit and is faster than your army.
It is exactly the same principle as Disruption Novas, but better in every way, with a much greater radius, speed, ignoring terrain, and coming from nowhere.

Without Shields, the Protoss army is dead. It is a very close range army with fewer units than Zerg or Terran, so it is entirely based around Shields for efficiency.

Completely neglecting the fact that archons are basically all shields. Completely disregarding the fact that one EMP can knock out an entire group of high templars from a battle. Completely ignoring the fact that about a half of a Protoss unit’s hit points is shields. Standard TCF nonsense

No it is not…it is till walking around with half its hit points. You can easily test it on the unit tester. You make protoss army(or one unit would be enough). You make a ghost on the other side. You EMP that one unit. He is still standing there with half hit points!

You can easily walk away with that army!

Lololo no you dont cause terran do stimforward and your army die

Well there you go…the Terran just pressed stim which took half its health…you just EMP’d the whole terran army without pressing a button!

Really? How about mobile medic call medivac who heal any bio unit compenstate any stim while if protoss lose shield they army die in running to target

For that you need a medivac per unit. Congrats you just gimped whole Terran army with no shooting units!

But hey stim doesn’t kill the Terran army…it only brings it down to one health amirite?

If you want some your army survive you will do medivack per unit without medivack overstim kill army already like you said emp d

There you go. You EMP’d the Terran army without doing anything. All you have to do is walk away with faster units.
