Blizzard can't find game installation in the selected directory

Error Code: BLZBNTAGT00000AF0

Bnet app does not recognize installed game on my computer. Cannot update the game as it says there are insuficient space on the instal location (off course the game is already there). What do i do?

you could delete the entire folder, that should free up enough space. if that does not give you enough space, you need delete something else or install an extra harddrive.

Hey, DarkSpell! Reinstalling the game by manually deleting the file is an option. Depending on how much space is left on the storage drive, it may not have enough space for the update. What andreasasp suggested should help with the issue.

This can happen when there’s a mismatch version and the Blizzard Application has trouble recognizing it. There are a few other suggestions that may help.

  1. Select the same file location and press Install. This should recognize that the game is already installed and overwrite the files and push the update if there’s enough space for the update.
  2. Delete the cache and tools folder for the Blizzard Application.
  3. Go to the installation location for StarCraft II, then go to Support64, locate the SC2Switcher_x64.exe file and launch the game from here. The Blizzard application may be able to detect the installation after launching the game directly.
