Hello, any time I open the game, the screen is black from the beginning. I can hear the music, and hear when my mouse moves over buttons. If I open it in windowed mode it is fine. I have reinstalled display drivers, checked for windows updates, and reinstalled the whole game.
What can I do?
bad resolution, change that.
I have the same issue when i drop it to window mode & mouse over it it shows up fine but i can’t move the mouse to play the game or it goes back to the black screen. I don’t think it is a resolution issue.
Is that only happening in-game or in the menus?

I’m having exactly the same problem. It was intermittent, now it’s more or less permanent.
whats your screen resolution, is it wide screen or reg.
Actually, I just solved it. I have an LG Monitor. I installed the LG OnScreen Control application that’s available as a download on the LG Website. I turned ON the “Adaptive-Sync/VRR (FreeSync/G-Sync Compatible)” option. It’s working flawlessly. I have an LG 32MN60T-B model monitor also known as a 32MN60T-B.AUS 32" FHD IPS Monitor with FreeSync™.
In addition, it should be noted that Windows 11 “Recognized” my screen as a GENERIC LG Screen. Downloading LG’s “OnScreen Control” utility allowed the me the option of specifying the exact monitor I was using, and telling it to go into the Adaptive mode.
