Hi SC Team, StarCraft 2 is the only game I have that resits to play audio anywhere else but to my speakers. In fact, selecting the audio output in-game doesn´t do anything. I have two (2) bluetooth headsets but the game will only play to speakers never to bluetooth. Also, if I try to use bluetooth from the game settings then any other sound like spotify gets silenced. I get nothing.
Only the speakers work. This is a pain. I know but if you have anything at all that I should try please let me know. Thanks
-I got latest sound drivers
-I got latest graphic drivers
-I tried repairing game. Found no issues
-I reinstalled the game. Problem continues
Here’s a workaround:
Go to Bluetooth and other Devices, then Devices and printers, then left click your desired bluetooth device, select Properties, then services, deselect Handsfree Telephony and now it should now play sound through your bluetooth device.
Be warned that your built in-microphone from your bluetooth device will not work…and that’s where I’m coming from…Blizzard, why can’t I play music from my headphones and use my built-in mic at the same time??
Thanks. I already had not only deselected handsfree but also disabled.
ACTUAL SOLUTION:
I went to windows sound settings , changed the sound devices channels to 44.1k hz to match everything else in my system. I then selected my bluetooth headset and disabled ALL ENHANCEMENTS for my bluetooth headphones. It now works fine. I would also recommend people what Budgerboo said. Deselect and/disable hands-free version of the device if possible.
