That’s one of the other reasons I don’t think GM matters a lot, skill levels are all over the place and people can play in any region with any amount of accounts.

This is one of the big things that some of the regular nut cases here don’t realize. GM ladder is about reaching a minimum MMR requirement and actively playing the game. This means a lot of people who are well above the requirement, but don’t play a bunch of games every week will not be in the GM ladder. Thus, GM ladder overall is not a good representation of the top skill level. I’ve long given up on giving a more in-depth explanation because the people I try to convince are too insane to pick up on the words I type.

So strictly in terms of PvT and with regards to the last balance patch in August 2020 (or better yet take the entire 2020 timeline to include times before the void ray/tempest/shield battery overcharge buff), there was one peak before the final balance patch (large) and another well after, but other than that, the winrate falls well within the bracket you’ve established.
Remind me of any major balance updates that took place in early 2020 before the final one in August. Is Protoss broken or slightly favored? The winrates are a little high with respect to this matchup alone - and I can agree that overcharge and void ray was a little too much. But does it really justify calling Protoss broken or OP? The 2021 peak raises concerns, but the one following the last balance patch in August was relatively short and can be explained in a sense by people realizing void ray proxy is viable (kind of too strong IMO). One thing is clear though - there is no consistent trend outside of the bracket you’ve mentioned. A few peaks, yes. But it’s not like, oh I don’t know, PvZ? Seriously. Just look at the PvZ graph. But Protoss OP right?

The Skillous example, he said he is 6800, looks high, and you can see Skillous being destroyed at tournaments.
I think overcharge needs a ligh nerf and one void change should be reverted, so some nerf needed, but not full nerf like some people want, the race is far from being broken.Only broken thing is probably battery cheeses, which is not something you see every game on high level tournaments so my guess is it has some limits.

I think if possible battery should be nerfed so it’s less effective at restoring air units. Get rid of proxy void cheeses.
On the ground (most pro games are ground based through the mid game, maybe with light stargate just for harass) the race is fine.
Nobody who is actually tough feels the need to go around asserting how big their privates are like that.

99.9% of the time I ignore your posts but I will respond to this one. Are you honestly saying that nobody likes to brag about their accomplishments? E.g., that everyone is always closeted about their strengths and abilities? Talk about being radically detached from reality. It’s those kinds of people who LOVE to brag about their abilities. It’s the people who have no such abilities who don’t like to talk about it, and who get offended if you do, because they are insecure about the topic. Being willing to openly talk about a topic means you aren’t insecure.
And, there is absolutely nothing wrong with bragging about things you are proud of. If you are offended by the fact that other people are better at certain things than you, then you need to grow up and/or get some accomplishments under your own belt so you don’t always feel like you are standing in other peoples’ shadows.
The people on these forums are so radically detached from reality especially on the topic of human interaction and basic social norms/practices. I am 100% convinced the people who post here have severe mental disorders and/or are permanent residents at a psych ward somewhere on Earth.
