Is it me or do you guys have the problem were your ‘‘teammate’’ is just building something and do not do anything for the rest of the game?
I have played around 8 coop and 4 of them were like that.
NOW i get if you trying a new commander and have to learn it and that takes time. That is fine, we all have to learn them.

I don’t quite understand what you are saying. Are you saying that your teammates only build defensive structures and no units or that they build production and tech structures but don’t have a large army until later in the game?
Depends upon what level you’re playing at. I almost never see it (maybe once a month) in the Brutal difficulty. When I see players like that, I just leave and re-queue. I’m not going to carry an idle/AFK player.
Then you losing a game. I personally are not going to lose regular brutal because of some leaver or afk unmanner. On mutations it’s probably always too stressful or impossible for me.
There are some maps that can’t be completed without an ally’s help anyway (namely Chain of Ascension and Lock n Load.)
W/L to someone being AFK isn’t an issue to me. Losing because of someone playing bad (myself included) is more of a problem.
That’s why i never play random map in random queue.
Then that’s on you. I play random maps, as I get more experience out of it, and the only map I won’t play is Cradle of Death.
I’ve noticed a bit more like this recently too. Fenix who played with just the hero and (very late) carriers, raynor who never left the bases for some reason, vora who walled their main up with cannons, fenix on DoN who insisted that cannons were better than units…
Best thing to do is give polite, useful advice along with an explanation for why your idea can/will help. If they don’t take your advice and things go south, leaving is always an option.
It’s Co-Op. we dont have MMR here. a lost game means nothing but lost time - and you’re playing a video game, so the time you’ve ‘wasted’ wouldn’t have been super productive anyway. If you don’t want to play that game, leave and try again

Okay, Kaboomer. As if AFKers are any better.

AFKers are far worse. Luckily I don’t remember ever encountering one. But definitely, if I noticed someone doing nothing, I’d probably leave, especially if I was only a few minutes in to a game. There’s virtually no penalty to either player. There’s no score, and reque times are like 10 seconds. Who cares.
The only time I get annoyed about people leaving is when the mission starts to get a little hot and my ally just peaces instead of battling back. It mystifies me that someone wants to only play perfectly executed games with no set backs.
You are cool leaver guy, because afker are worse. Flawless logic. When you entered game, play it, have respect to your ally.
Tell that to those who want to be AFK from start to finish. All that they want is a free, easy carry to victory. Most days I don’t feel like committing to such a thing. If you want to do it, go right ahead. Then again, you’re probably the type of player who plays nothing but Oblivion Express with Mengsk going mass ESOs all game every game, even against air compositions.
(teammate was Protoss) He build so he could warp troops and few pylons. That was it. And his camera was in one spot all the time.
Sorry for the late respones
Which specific Protoss commander and what map if you can remember?
He was Karax and it was Dead of the night. I can tell you why he was afk or botting. I attack him and he did not even react to it. Just to see
Player who plays nothing but Oblivion Express with Mengsk going mass ESOs and a-move its ally from the start all game every game
I just wanna release my hatred toward these idiots.
The worst part of it is these people come from a certain country.
Chickenator is just… Not a very favorable person.
If they made a lot of static defense and maxed out on carriers then I would say it’s alright. However if they had less than 20 cannons/monoliths and/or maxed out on gateway units then that’s an issue.
He did not. he had like 2-3 photocannons and 1 warpgate
