These are professional players how could Elazerās supply cap be 180 supply over? I mean, I wouldnāt expect it being 40 over. Surely even if it happened he couldnāt win.
The guy is going to 100/200 if not a bigger discrepancy in a ton of his games. Itās so freaking bad and ridiculous, that you almost figure heās doing it on purpose, like making a manner nexus but while the game is still even.
Itās even crazier than people give it credit for, though, because most of the time he also rallies the overlords across the map, to just have them die. Itās absolutely jaw dropping. I watched 2 games in a row of his in a tournament where he lost his first overlord due to thinking it was on the high ground, when it wasnāt.
This guy loses so many overlords without even reacting. He doesnāt even realize theyāre under attack. It makes you wonder if thatās why he just always makes so many of them, because for w/e reason, he has zero awareness. He must have been traumatized by losing games due to being supply blocked every game due to donating his overlords.
W/e the deal is, this guy makes Zerg look broken more than anyone else in the world, because he highlights just how ginormous the margin for error is, even at the pro level, for Zergs. If youāre a fellow Zerg player, you gotta be saying yo wtf are you doing elazerā¦ knock it offā¦ jesus.

protoss is UP because of zerg crybabies. A small number of whom spam every thread with crying and so constantly literally every hour of the day, they donāt even appear to have jobs or lives.

I was just being a sarcastic prick, Iām well aware Elazerās macro is about diamond level. I donāt watch the foreign scene so I was incredibly shocked when I saw it in GSL vs the World which he came freaking second in.
The difficulty of Zerg is a joke but it still shocks me. I was offracing as Zerg to as least show that I have masters level play with it and when I was playing against Terran I noticed they all make an absurd amount of widow mines with little to no support. Iām pretty sure diamond Zerg are so bad they donāt know how to box forward lings and move command them forward, which is all you need to do to micro against mines. So ridiculous.
I thought you were, but it still need elaboration. I canāt find it on youtube, as it must not have been uploaded. But a month or two ago, Elazer lost a game to Nerchio when he was massively ahead because he just donated all of his units and overlords.
I kid you not, for 5 minutes straight, if not more, Elazer kept rallying his overlords to MANAāS BASE. The guy had like 15 overlords in the other guyās base and never once realized.
I was watching Harstemās stream the other day, and itās the same thing. Just rallying overlords into him. Itās absolutely insane how bad your macro can be with Zerg and still stop all-ins. If they donāt nerf the queen, Zerg is going to always be the best race. Itās way too easy for them to get to the late game, where obv theyāre at adv there, too. Something has to give. Starts with queens.

The response to all early aggression in TvZ is basically more queens. The only decision Zerg has to make is whether they want to make another round of queens or not. The race isnāt even mechanically basic, itās strategically brain dead.
After having to retreat from mass queens while I was maxed with the golden armada and disruptors, I went to the unit tester and tested out EVERY Toss unit vs pure queens.
I kid you not everything loses to mass queens at even supplies, sans disruptors. 2 disruptor shots launched at once is literally the only way to kill queens. Itās ridiculous. So, in the early gameā¦ if a guy even manages to get one nydus upā¦ time to leave.
Do you remember in the GSL round of 4 with TRUE against Zest? TRUE just made queens and walked across the map with them and beat Zest.
The only downside to putting queens through a nydus is that the lair requirement for a nydus takes up production time for your queens.

Iām not sure if I saw that or not. Iām pretty sure I remember True being Zests immortal, sentry all-in with pure ling, queen.
To this day, True is the Zerg I hate playing the most vs/think his style is the best. The guy only makes lings and queens for like 15 minutesā¦ and then can make like 100 mutas at once or w/e. Mass ling in the early game is so under utilized/underrated.
The guy can stop any attack with that style, while denying all bases, while racking up the gas. Someone must have figured him out, though, as you never hear about him anymore. That style was bonkers in HotS.
I remember the last game I saw of his against Protoss, he didnāt even bother to make a spore crawler against an oracle opener and just made extra queens. He took no damage from the oracles and then won by walking the queens across the map. I really want to know why no other Zerg tries this.

I still think one of the protoss will beat HM in the deciderās match though
At least itās a good thing this happens before the big patch, so theyāll twice if itās frustrating for terran players to barely not catch observers
The last time I saw him play, he literally made 40 mutas at once because he just makes lings and queens FOREVER. Ofc the other guy got absolutely owned. That style is so AIDS. Thank god others donāt use that style.
W/e pros are doing is obv working (infestor, broodlord), but Iād rather not play vs the more wonky things.

Let me preface this with stating I have been a hero fan since the start of sc2. Hero played bad. Even marginally better play and he mops the floor with reynors face. He straight up refused to use his warp prism for blink micro, left it miles behind his army, was super late with warp ins, and he did this repeatedly. So many battles lost because he literally just 1aād his army and thatās about it.
The quality of play coming out of Korea is trash. Literal trash. Maybe itās jet lag but masters 1 protoss donāt play this bad.
