I guess Big Gabe became an expert TvP’er, and it’s just coincidence this happened the day after Protoss was nerfed? His skill is so MIGHTY to beat the best PvT player on Earth, but not so MIGHTY as to overcome imbalance? Gotta love the double-think. I never want to hear another terran player complain about protoss again. Why is the race even in the game anymore?

Ok i do wonder. Are you refering to the IT nerf (i would absolute expect you to not know why its a nerf) or to the neural buff?
What nerf? I’ve heard about rework only.
After seeing the numbers, the IT will do more air damage than before, and removing the need to research one of the most power abilities in the game is about as big of a buff as a race has seen. At the bare minimum, it’s the equivalent of GIVING Zerg a free infestor + 50 minerals, and Zerg will never lose another game due to having forgotten to resaerch neural.
When you’re talking about a unit that is widely regarded as the most OP thing to grace the game and there is even a debate to be had of whether it’s getting buffed or nerfed, I think that tells you all one needs to know about whether this game is designed with the intention of being fair or not.
It’s obviously still a yet to be seen thing, but it’s clearly an unnecessary buff. I agree a lot with beastyqt, but if there is anything I disagree with him, it’s definitely his philosophy on you can’t subtract something without adding something back to it. It makes zero sense to me.
If something is overpowered, you nerf what is too strong about it. Adding something back as some kinda consolation prize usually just defeats the purpose. If it happens sometimes and you can have it make sense, fine. But as a mandatory thing? Idiotic.
As i thought, you still dont understand, why the double energy cost is a much bigher factor than doubling the dmg. Thx for prooving me right.

More damage vs air than before + an extra infestor due to not needing to research neural = facing more DPS than before. None of its abilities get nerfed in a meaningful way.
It’s like painting a house a different color and telling me it’s a different house. Are we talking about the most OP unit in the game or the zealot? The freaking void ray was nerfed more in the past than this. Come on.

I think if we look there’s equal amount of whine going either way. Balance aside, heromarine always plays fantastic games. A meta that rewards macro players is far better than 2018’s meta.
What changes is losing more and more logic/sensibility in this game. If the most powerful abilities in the game don’t need to be researched, then why should anything else need to be researched?
Why should I need to research thermal lance or storm? Neural costs 150/150. It’s giving Zerg a FREE INFESTOR = MORE DPS THAN BEFORE on top of the extra damage vs air. Soo just lost a game yesterday due to forgetting to research neural.
It’s hard to say Zerg is going to lose more games than before. The most widely regarded OP unit in the game is being treated with extreme care…
Everything about the infestor is too good. I’ve never said any one thing about it is too good, cause it’s all too good…
I don’t even really care, though. The infestor is a pro level thing. It just makes games at the highest level unwinnable. At my level, the viking being allowed to take a leak on every unit in the game is far more tilting/problematic.

What a ridiculous game 4 and 5, this last one, Carriers getting deleted one by one throwing 410/250 resources to the garbage, that is the Carrier no a days.
