The Maru rematch against Time pretty much told me he wanted to avoid Serral at all cost , guess he may have a strategy to beat Serral later.

Idk wtf stats was doing vs maru… stalkers over OP chargelots, hardly any archons and idk if he stormed one time.

The first game I could feel Maru’s contempt for TIME. He was playing as if his opponent was so bad he could just be bopped, that’s why Maru over committed. Moreover if you watched Maru’s interview he had such disdain for his group. “If I don’t get out of my group I’m going to have to seriously reevaluate my own abilities.”

Damn heromarine had a chance in game 2 but idk what he was thinking

classic needed to peace out after he killed like 20 scvs

Classic got way overeager there. Good job by HeroMarine to force game 4.

A game like this makes you really appreciate how good Trap is in this Matchup. This Storm first heavy Templar style is how he ran Maru over, and Classic isn’t able to make it work against HeroMarine.

nah

stats and classic just play badly and make mistakes

Watching Protoss in SC 2 is like trying to watch players beat the house in a casino, but it’s not even remotely that balanced/fair.

I thought it was bad in 2018

but this is just disgusting.

might just stop watching pro sc2 if this continues. ive been a fan since BW for 3 asymmetric but more or less balanced races. not this garbage

In light of the hong kong thing highlighting how money is the driving force behind all decisions, you really do have to wonder if they’ve decided that Protoss being substantially weaker is simply better for business. If WWE can script/rig things and people still watch, then why can’t Blizzard/SC 2?

it has to be

just appease legions of terran trolls

I’d like to see Neeb (or any pro Toss) look into suing Blizzard. In all seriousness. No matter how much money he has won, they’ve cost him enough money to warrant looking into it.

You just can’t just justify Toss not having any strong points in the entire history of LotV, yet you come up with excuses to nerf the observer, while ignoring all strong things about Terran in T vs P, and making the zealot seem like the strongest thing in the matchup.

No one complained about feedback: nerfed. No one complained about Toss air upgrades: nerfed. No one has any idea who complained about the observer: getting nerfed. Weakest race in the game, yet main priority is nerfing the zealot, while the infestor gets a buff.

It’s just frustrating, because it’s hard enough to balance a game when you’re trying to, but they’re NOT TRYING to.

I’m really worried now, because I don’t want to see Classic have to play a PvP against herO in the losers match. herO is a worse player in every aspect of both non-mirror matchups, but he is still more than capable of taking out Classic in a PvP.

So how many protoss have advanced so far?

I’m sure blizzard has a clause in there somewhere protecting them from such lawsuits lol. They might just plead incompetence or something, if anything lol.

Toss wasnt too bad in early lotv imo, but obviously severely outclassed by Terran.

The last 2 or so years has been a farce though. Ive never seen a race become obliterated like protoss in lotv has, and all because of stupid memes, trolling, and crying mainly by Terran whiners who range from bronze league players who can’t kite to Innovation and Maru as they win their 938957th trophy

I agree with you though…it HAS to be that they are purposely neutering protoss. Nobody can be that incompetent at balancing a game.

Remember, this guy got top 100 GM with Protoss yet he rambles about things like suing blizzard for keeping protoss UP. The irony flies 10,000 miles over his head.

How many should have so far?

Srsly. That showtime wouldnt advance was no surprise. Group b… anyone could have taken the 2nd spot. Put stats in group a and he might have advanced.

Group c is nowhere near to over… so hold your pants please.

It would be interesting to know what kinda clauses they have and what grounds you could use. Something is most definitely not right and not on the up and up, and you could easily provide stats and balance updates/posts to confirm this in the minds of people who haven’t even followed SC 2.

It’s like a pattern test. If you have 105 1’s in a row, what should you expect to come next? Blizzard has been trying to convince us for years that the next number shouldn’t be a 1. There becomes a point where you simply can’t plead incompetence. At some point, it’s beyond a reasonable doubt that you’re doing the equivalent of match fixing, and not with fairness/balance in mind.

It’s a real shame, because these players are too good/skilled to have this stuff detracting from games.
