1v1 Ladder Lag Bug

Whenever a game is played against a certain opponent on the EU 1v1 ladder who is around 6.8k MMR, the game always lags out and after the game he has an absurd amount of APM, on the order of 100,000s. This makes the game completely unplayable, and sometimes even causes crashes.

Recently, they have sniped popular Twitch streamers and it is reflecting quite poorly on the StarCraft team and on Blizzard.

Is Blizzard aware of this issue, and if so, are they working on a fix?

Hey samsim,

If you encounter a player who appears to be cheating or exploiting in some way you should use the in-game reporting options to report them.

How to Report Cheating in Starcraft II

If you manage to record video evidence of it happening, host the video on a video sharing site, make sure the video is private, then you can email the video link and details to hacks@blizzard.com

Serral as well as a bunch of other EU pros are reporting it:

I have reported the player who I referenced in the initial post, but he is still around, and still preventing legitimate players with high MMR from finding legitimate games on ladder. Since I myself am not high enough MMR, I don’t have any first-hand video footage to email to the hacks account. However, as janpol has posted, pro-gamer Serral has posted illustrative footage of the guy’s hacks in action. That is evidence enough; you can corroborate the reports with the video and take action.

Please do so. I don’t really understand what is taking you so long.

Lol… you think they care about SC2? You’re lucky you even got a response from a forum mod… :joy:
