You have to pay for the PVE missions LMAO

ngl, but why would you expect these to be free? I get that Blizzard has been dropping the ball a lot, but i think this is just player entitlement this time around.

Depends on how much it costs for the missions alone. Assuming they’re actually sold separately.

“Cable package pricing” is not a great value if you’re forced to buy things you don’t want just to get something you do.

Whats the point of co-op missions if you’re just gonna end up playing matchmade groups because your friends happen to be f2p.

youtube : )

bye… pve…bye bye

It’s 3 missions for $15. Not a whole game.

What about people who only cares about the missions and don’t want the rest?

Then I guess you will just have to wait and see if the missions are free or not. Since it says “permanent access to the missions,” it’s likely they will be free for everyone for a limited time.

There are articles confirming it’s not free already. The forums have been talking about it since yesterday.

and with no-one else shelling out for Blizzwads crappy un-content, anyone who actualy DOES pay for that crap will still be sitting lonely in their mommy’s basement playing with themselves and crying.

So? I think most people WANT PvE to be single player anyways.

I already payed 20 bucks for PVE in preorder… and did get 0 refund. Now I have to pay per mission to be able and play it all the time?

WOWW ok you know what im going to work for Riot, screw blizzard!

It is true. PvE is not going to be like it was promissed, which would be doing the same campaigns over and over and having skill trees and development. You can still do the campaigns over and over if you want though. I disagree with the whole getting coins back from the BP like Apex Legends — from a business stand point of course.

I’m not even going to take this anology seriously. Adress the topic seriously or don’t reply at all.

Sorry about your situation. When was Overwatch 1 for 10$ ever? It’s not a sarcastic question, it’s a legit one though I don’t remember that ever happening. Nonetheless, sorry about your situation; some country struggle with the whole currency conversions.

This sums it all up pretty much.

It’s 3 missions(permanent), a legendary skin for Sojourn, Sojourn herself in case you’re a new player and 1000 coins. Damn, what a scam right?

Sorry about that. I usually don’t like pre-ordering anything related to gaming for this reason. Hopefully you’ve learned with this. Very sad to hear this though.

LOL @ the morons pre-ordering (well BUYING) ANYTHING from Blizzard!!! I bought OW1 and got screwed over with a steaming pile of OW2.

Humble Bundle.
It’s how I got my PC copy years ago.

It seems like time and again blizzard makes the worst choice without fail. At this point OW2 is a complete failure and they are just bleeding out the community until it’s so small they can merge overwatch team into another dev team.

Yes it’s a scam. 3 missions (equal to 1.5 hours of content) for $15 even if you only care about the story missions. Let’s compare this to othe games.

Witcher 3 with DLC ($7): 150 hours of content

Batman Arkham collection ($7): 3 of some of the best superhero games existing together with all their DLC.

Star Wars Fallen Order ($5):

My point is that you can find triple A games for the same or even half the price of $15 and you can get 25-90x more hours of content compared to what you get with these 3 missions. Also remember that the 3 missions reuses asets and are improved Archives missions that we got for free back in OW1.
You have to remember that there’s no other way to be able to play the 3 missions without being forced to spend $15 even if you don’t care about the BP, a skin and some coins. Even with these things included it shouldn’t be anywhere above the price of $5. In what world are 1.5 hours of content and some cosmetics even worth $15? I’ve already mentioned examples of whole games that even includes tons of cosmetics and you get 25-90x more value than of the 3 missions and they are even cheaper.

$15 for 1.5 hours of content MAX. That’s $10 per hour of gameplay.

By comparison, Cyberpunk 2077 costs $60 when not on sale. It takes roughly 60 hours to complete the main story plus all side missions. That’s $1 per hour of content for a FAR more complete and compelling game. Cyberpunk 2077 took far more effort to develop than these three PvE missions, too.

If Blizz were going to price their PvE missions at a comparable value, it’d only be $1.50 to access.

Exactly! I think it’s really sad how newer generations have been brainwashed for so many years that they think these prices are normal. It would be good if more parents knew about the predatory practices so they can teach their children about these issues so they stop wanting to support corporations like Blizzard. Blizzard has become so greedy that they sell Diablo 4 for $70 while at the same time cosmetics in the game costs $19! Where’s the F2P diplomats now? They can’t blame the game being F2P to justify $19 skins.

Back in the old days most games were playable and you didn’t need to have a RTX 4090 ti to get 30 fps. Now these corporations are starting to even normalize releasing unoptimized unfinished games. It’s really sad to see what the gaming industry has become in the last years. Yes there are still a few gems coming out every now and then but it feels like it’s becoming fewer for every year that goes.
