Do u have any other setting besides “edgy douche on the internet”
All those games are single player aren’t they? Not the best comparison.
You see, it’s still not a scam considering you’re getting all those things I’ve mentioned before. If you think it’s a scam, then being mad at Blizzard isn’t your only issue.
They are with no PvP mode, not sure about Witcher 3 because I’ve never played it but is not a good comparison by any means.
The best comparison would be Destiny 2 since the base game is F2P and the expansions, albeit are enormous, a bit pricey and not that well liked by the community.
It’s true Blizzard isn’t my only issue. They are one of multiple companies iventing even worse scams for every year that goes.
That’s a really good point to mention. These 3 missions requires you to have people online to play them. How are people gonna be able to play these missions in the future when there’s no one queuing for them? There should exist AI players but it doesn’t.
This is even one more good reason against the pricing of the missions because they will not be replayable forever compared to a single player game.
The bootlicking is insane. I’ve bought indie games for $15 at full price that give 10x the amount of value and replayability than some 20 min missions with all original features gutted. Blizzard stans are something else.
By their own pricing model, the 3 missions are worth less than a 4 year old skin from OW1, that was originally obtainable for free, lol. Their pricing and value is all over the place, nonsensical.
I’m so done with blizzard, I’m not even gonna buy Diablo 4. It’s carried over there too, $28 dollar armor skins, lol.
Honestly, and this is coming from someone who played OW1 for years and years… I wish this game would just die already. I uninstalled a long time ago and check in every now and then just to see and it’s always something worse every time I do. It’s incredible to behold, in a massive train wreck kind of way.
Though I still have my gripes, CDPR did a good job fixing Cyberpunk up. Hello Games did miracle work on No Mans Sky. Blizzard will never turn this ship around. Imo they’re even worse than EA now.
So: can we continue to complain (rightly) about the management of the shop that sells skins for $20 or should we seriously cling to this ridiculous whining about money specifically destined for pve? rather than the monetization of pvp and its “buy this skin within a week at this price otherwise you will lose it”.
let it be clear that the management of blizzard’s hype was shameful, but igniting some neuron of what are we still paying unfairly compared to the pve?
Although I do agree with one of the comments someone posted in that tweet - People whine about paying $15 for a bundle but would happily spend $8 for a blue checkmark in Twitter that does literally nothing.
Are you working for Blizzard? Just curious because no one in their right mind would agree with them in this case unless they’re hardcore white knights or paid shills…
What they promised us were a package deal with story missions, hero missions with randomized events and loot with talent trees, not what we’re currently getting. No one will EVER bother doing the same story mission over and over. Hero missions with everything they promised us on the other hand would bring actual replay value to the game’s PVE.
Apparently they’re correct, seeing as you keep defending this horrid business practice they’ve forced on us.
It’s 3 missions(permanent), a legendary skin for Sojourn, Sojourn herself in case you’re a new player and 1000 coins. Damn, what a scam right?
It is a scam because none of the skins are worth $20, period and neither are the heroes, and by the way, Sojourn can also be unlocked for free, real fast and the 1000 coins will still put you 900 coins short of a skin, meaning you’ll end up having to fork out more money to get those 900 coins.
Sorry about that. I usually don’t like pre-ordering anything related to gaming for this reason. Hopefully you’ve learned with this. Very sad to hear this though.
You’re as sorry as Bobby Kotick is, whenever he gets his paycheck, i bet.
Yes it’s a scam. 3 missions (equal to 1.5 hours of content) for $15
It’s not even 90 minutes. It’s about 50-60 minutes if even that, if you exclude the cutscenes.
All those games are single player aren’t they? Not the best comparison.
Then let me introduce you to Borderlands and the insane amount of content those co-op games add on top of the main story with tons of side quests, and endless replayability.
They’re on sale often at 80% price reduction. Even the base game gives you far more entertainment value than the PVE story mission in this game will ever give you, and they’re all 4 player co-op.
Oh and while i’m at it, let me introduce you to Dungeons of Sundaria. A PVE Co-op game which is in Early Access, and still offer more content than this game ever will for the nice price of $14 where certain dungeons can take 1-2hrs to complete 100% with randomized loot and more.
I could just go on and on, but these two are probably the best ones i can use in a comparison.
I truly wonder who signed off on this idea. It’s like they’re shooting themselves in the foot on purpose.
