The reason i am disappointed, is not because of the map, itself. I love the Map. I loved it in Storm Rising and I’m sure it will look great in the regular game.
The reason im disappointed is, because, OverWatch’s Youtube lied to me. When i got the email, the description said it was a new Assault (2CP) Map. And i thought: “Yes! We just got two new Assault maps in a row! Those are my favorite!”
Well, turns out, whoever does the YT vids messed up. Havana is actually an Escort map. Which, is still fun. I love Payload maps too. But, i was sooo excited when i thought we were getting a new 2CP map. Now, im kind of bummed.
Darn you, PlayOverWatch on YT, you lied to me. heavy sigh
Oh, it does. Im just a little bummed and upset because their YT channel misinformed me. Its not like it was heresay. It was info straight from the horse’s mouth. I was hoping it legitly was 2CP
another sunny map. Blizzard world, Paris, Junkertown, Havana, Eichenwalde - all new maps are in broad dayilight, it’s annoying. Where’s Dorado and King’s Row type of maps. Even Gibraltar with it’s blinding garbage sun is more unique
I wish they would have kept the weather effects from Storm Rising. That would have been so cool. They even hired someone special to make the storm. It’s kind of a shame that their work was only for one thing. It would have been nice if it was kept in the regular map
So, it is straight up Escort. Jeez. First YT said Assault, then others said Hybrid, then YT said Escort. Ugh, i cant win. i just want to know the map type!
