Why doesn't shield bash cancel Genji ult?

You know very little, also its because its a transformation ults, these are ultimates that can only be removed by killing the character, they include but are not limited to Genji’s Dragonblade, Mercy’s Valkyrie, Winston’s Primal Rage, Bastion’s Configuration: Tank, Soldier: 76’s Tactical Visor and others

Iirc you can interrupt it if you stun him during the unsheathing.

That only makes him have to activate it again.

The idea is that Transformations would be depleted if their activation is interrupted.

Same reason soldier visor and primal rage don’t cancel.

Use your own ults to counter it. It’s absurd that people expect 2 ults to be counterable by a single ability.

Again, he doesn’t instakill you if you actually use your own ultimates. It’s not broken if there’s counterplay.

Theres plenty. Tactical Visor, Primal Rage, Molten Core are the ones i can think of on the top of my head.

Agreed. I don’t think that they should be interuppted once you have already started using them. But if someone managed to cancel you while it was casting, they should be rewarded for that.

Blade is a transformation like Bastion and Zen’s ult are both transformation.

Dragonblade is the strongest of all the damage ultimates.

No, it isn’t. Other ult combos have readily accessible counterplay options.

The exceptions are grav+emp, grav+dragon and nanoblade. Everything else has counterplay that is fairly accessible.

Zenyatta’s isn’t actually. He doesn’t get cancelled because he has total immunity during it.

Here’s a list of them from the change. Also Genji’s ultimate didn’t used to be considerer a transformation ultimate. They changed it to that so he wouldnt be interrupted.

Which is ironic because he was the reason people kept giving them that feedback in the first place.
