Genjis generally will use dash to get to you, and then thats a free knockback,
You can always get two knockback abilities just in case,
Shield bash has knockback, but it’s not a distancing ability, and unless your aim is legendary you have to use it to allow the whip shot knockback.
And as I said, Genji will only use dash to start attacking the second player he kills, if Genji doesn’t have a dash at the ready to undo Brig’s knockback then that means Brig has already failed to prevent Genji from getting a kill.
It’s not the only ult. Transformation ults are unaffected by bash.
That includes bastion, winston, old torb, genji, soldier.
Because they require further user input and they are weaker than cast-time or channeled ults.
I mean, not always again, a lot of genjis use the first dash to get in the air and the second to dash in,
But you still have other means
- hack
- Trans
- Sound barrier
- Another boop
- Bubbles
- invencibility drone
Yes, you can not always prevent him from getting any kill, but you can surely deny his ult value a lot
Generally this is true for all ults though…sometimes you can not always save the first person attacked, but still,
Generally, if they have genji, pick either zen (the superior choice, but will need a winston or smth to drive the genji off zen) or a lucio and they will most likely deny any and all DBs
Im pretty sure new torb is a transformation ultimate
The one thing that I am more sure of now, after 3 years of this game, is either everyone should have passives or no one should.
Why is Hog’s interupted, its already not really good.
Dragonblade is weaker than Blizzard or Photon Barrier? I think a lot of people will disagree there.
Remember when the quickly made Genji’s ult a tranformation ult after like 1 day when they made those initial changes? SO sad lol

I think the downside to transformation ULTs should be that they limit the use of certain normal abilities.
I don’t believe Winston can use his barrier during primal rage, nor can Bastion repair during tank mode can he? (If I’m wrong, then I say no to barrier & repair during their ULTs.) So neither do I think Soldier should be able to use biotic field during tactical visor and nor Genji deflect during dragon-blade.
Transformations need a downside since C.C.s only delay ULT activation but don’t cancel it nor deplete charge like other heroes’ ULTs.
Bastion can heal, Winston can not barrier. Like transformation ults themselves, rules about them are inconsistent, because that would be doing something with some thought

It’s better than Blizzard but photon barrier is insanely strong. Dragonblade is only very strong combined with nanoboost.
No but it’s lower dps than death blossom or barrage.
Barrage has the highest DPS in the game, yet it’s considered one of the worst DPS ultimates. DPS is certainly only a part of what makes an ultimate good.
Most dps (damage) ults are pretty bad. Easily stopped or avoided.
Dragonblade is complained so much only because it’s not a joke.
As Brigitte main yourself, whose ult ALSO does not get canceled when ulting with shield bash. I think either you are trolling or you are not very bright. Cuz, my room got a little darker after reading this post, even tho there are two lightbulbs here. could be a co-incidence too
