As far as I know, it’s the only ult that isn’t cancelled by shield bash.
It’d be nice to have a way to not instantly die to the nanoblade combo, because it’s kind of broken having a near-unkillable instakiller that can jump 5 kilometres and ignores shields.

Personal opinion, but all transformation ults should be able to be cancelled if they are interrupted during their casting.

while not depleting the ult charge you can cancel the transfo animation and delay the ult launch by shield bashing him during the animation but once it’s down it won’t be interrupted because it isn’t considered as a channelled ability but a transformation. Like tac visor, tank, valk, primal rage.
To put it simple, if the hero can use other abilities during his ult, then the ult can’t be cancelled.

Transformation ult is not the same as channeled
It is neither the only Ult not canceled by SB nor is it canceled by other stuns. As others have said, it’s a transformation Ult, meaning it is not canceled by stuns.

Soldier, Mercys, Brigs, Bastions, Genjis, Winstons and some more are transforming ults these transforming ults cant be stopped through stuns or hack.
Ults that in a way transform you into another mode which still allows you to use atleast one for your standard abilitys are called transforming ults.
Ults that also Transform you but do not allow you to use any of your abilities are stunable and hackable. These are called channeled.
Here some examples:
Roadhog, Reaper, Moira, etc
Either they all should, or none of them should. None of this some do, some don’t crap. It’s not fair.
Everything that has an accual cast time is
stopped. Its just that non of them have a real cast time only an Animation.
Ults with Cast times would be: Lucio drop, Rein shatter, Sombra EMP, Hammond, and a few more
I know, but they really should. I don’t see why these ults should be more protected, especially given how lethal ults like Dragonblade are.

Its a transformation ultimate
To deny the value of dragonblade you have to physically force him out of his melee range as early as possible to interrupt him from chaining, or cut his chain mid-way
Since Brig no longer has that damage, the only thing she can do against a dragonblade anymore is waste his time with bash+whip. He’s still gonna wipe you, it will just be like 1 player less than before
That’s impossible, because Genji will immediately dash back to Brig if he gets knocked away with whip shot.
Unless he used the dash to get to Brig, in which case he’s already killed someone.
It’s impossible for Brig to prevent anyone from dying to dragonblade, which seems like a big flaw considering that she’s meant to be the most effective hero for saving squishies under attack.
