Nah, it’s really not even close.
Flash has an aoe explosion, Magnetic has an built in tracking on ur xhair, the only big difference it makes is past corners/shields since the tracking one only tracks on throw and not on flight

uhhh… No? You can literally not aim at someone and still hit them with it. Test it in training area.
Its even worse than that, its a ctrl+c from Tracer’s ult but with - 220 dmg but requires no aim whatsoever, its the least inspired thing i’ve ever seen, maybe a bit more than Mercy 2.0.
It even deals the 1 dmg on stick.
I openly despise the character but I agree.
I feel like they need to rework his m2 into something more usable, and as compensation, lose the tracking on his mag nade. Increase his roll distance significantly to give him more survivability.
Does anyone actually like the mag nade in its current form? The people that get hit by it hate it because it takes so little skill to use (why the devs decided to give him something arguably even more brain-dead than flash is beyond me).
The mccree players that use it don’t seem to like it that much either.

Hate it to bits, i hate it even more so than flash because its so darn useless, it goes the opposite end of flash in that sense.
he’s better than most of the dps roster because most of the dps roster is terrible. I’ve never seen it so unbalanced. As for junkrat having heat seeking mines-they already aren’t much harder to hit than a cassidy grenade
I have tested it in the game against humans. It can miss against fast moving targets. I don’t just mean being out-ranged, I mean beginning to lock on and then missing them.
Maybe not, but they aren’t a throw and forget ability. Junkrat needs to also manually blow the mine up when he thinks it’s close. If you fail then you get a much lower damage done if you get any at all.
His mine can also be a curse by scattering the team when you want to keep them grouped up.
Its not even close how much more fun/interesting and even harder to use Junk’s Mines are in comparison to this current garbo that is on Cassidy atm.
all true. but he has two and they are mobility as well. they also don’t damage him.
cassidy grenade is really fun in 1v1s. nothing is as satisfying and hilarious as shooting someone once then grenading them and standing still as they die
I can see our definition of fun is quite different, the opposite even, i have fun when i can dictate how to use my abilities more with an strong and varied kit instead of this basically auto-aim nade that is incredbly weak even against characters that it was supposedly designed for and even weaker against other stuff…

here lies the issue, you cant say that it does more damage if it sticks but make it track. one or the other
Heres the issue in ur statement, even though it tracks, its range is not infinte and there are plenty of things that can block it.
for how much damage it does it is way too easy to land. as long as the enemy is on your screen it will stick
