Who is “famous” on the forums?

So this is what fame is like…

That description just makes me sound creepy. Also, technically my BattleTag is spelled with a Y. The “Myst” part is a reference to my old days of playing Pokemon all of the time (I used to be known as the “Mysterious Trainer”).

Unrelated, got a favorite type / pokemon?

My favorite type varies on my mood, though poison is probably one of my most consistent favorites.

Two favorites are Charmander and Cyndaquil. I liked Charmander’s story in the anime and Charmander was my first pokemon. My friends have likened my personality as being similar to the Cyndaquil line, and cyndaquil is just adorable.

I’m famous by association, AriaRose used a quote from me in one of her videos :ok_hand:

I never had a specific favorite type or even a favorite Pokemon. I played the video game from 1998 to 2014 for the most part but was a significant member of the Pokemon Trading Card Game community from 1999-2005. Was even one of the Pokemon Professors. Basically a “certified judge” for Pokemon TCG events and all around supporter of the game, much like I am one of the “forum MVPs” here on the Blizzard forums.

That’s pretty cool! I was born in 93, so I was still a kid back then but I started with red / blue and I loved the trading card game.

I was really disappointed when I hit middle school and all of the other kids had moved on from the pokemon cards X_X.

I’m not, as you put it, famous. I’m more so just a regular here.

The big names are RichC(sadly quit) JellyandJam, and SunsetHippo. Those are ones i instantly recognize.

And being part of the staff, I recognize most of the people from the Overmoji Cafe.

WyomingMist is pretty helpful around these parts and I feel like he is one of the better known users.

I just cracked 1000 but I welcome the new found fame

Being helpful is my goal. I try to avoid stating an “opinion” most of the time on the forums. Instead I rely on citing from official Blizzard posts and posting information to answer common questions on these forums. You will find a majority of my posts are in the technical support forums.

The world could always use more heroes.

Which gen?

I played from Red/Blue all the way to X and Y versions. Never could stomach Sun and Moon versions and Mega Evolutions kinda killed it for me.

I’ve gotten to know some people and recognize them right away.

Lazypeon, Deadly Aztec, Blasphemy, Jellyjam, Richc, and a few others.

Virticon I recognize but not because he is famous… :stuck_out_tongue:

Nice! I feel you. Sun and Moon was meh…then the Ultra Beasts? Omg, most are horrible xD Most of the Alolan forms were also like…not good.

Ruby and Sapphire along with Gold version forever remain the most fun and enjoyable with my memory c:

Did you see Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu and Eevee ? :open_mouth:

Edit I FORGOT BLUE VERSION LOL XD

I have but I do not own a Switch yet (yeah I know… sacrilege.)

Aria actually inspired me to hate the Mercy main community, I would have had no idea how cancerous that dumpster fire was had her video not been in my recommended feed.

My fame is so famous that people can’t be aware of it.
It is literally so big they can’t perceive it!
I keep it hidden so that I do not crush the universe with its power.

But …
I know its there…
gust of wind; tumble weed
complete silence…

You just proved my point. :joy:
