Single target rez goes on a resource meter like Torbjörn had to collect scrap she has to collect souls. Her resource meter can hold exactly one rez. No longer the slowed down during execution.
Valk. No long give tethered beams, but it combines both beam effects for the time of the ability and she puts her pistol in her second hand (RMB). Basically like her one highlight intro.
Borrowing from the undone Symmetra change, give Mercy two separate ultimates.
-If she presses Q near a dead teammate, instant Resurrect.
-If she holds Q, she enters Valkyrie mode.
-Reduce Ultimate cost from 1950 to 1200 Ult charge, which comes out to 30 seconds of constant healing. This way, good Mercy players who stay alive and heal can Resurrect at about the current rate, while bad Mercy players cannot. Also, Resurrect is not available at the start of a match this way.
-To balance the reduced Ult cost, Valkyrie only lasts for 10 seconds instead of 15. This would require more strategic use on Mercy’s part, since it wouldn’t last for as long during a fight. It would also allow Mercy to use this in a pinch to get away from a flanker, without as much of a penalty since you could have it back much faster.
valkyrie is already out shined by Lucio’s Amp it Up and you want to reduce it’s duration even more?

yea just taking mercy out of the meta would make it so much better. shes the only reason widow seems op at all because she removes the risk of playing her as you can just be ressed behind los or a rein shield if you suck and lose the 1v1. not to mention damage boost and highest consistent heals. and an ult that makes u immortal for 15 seconds free healing.
Or how it’s like a resource ultimate like it takes 50 ult charge to Rez one person and if fully charged three people
Cleanse isn’t a good idea. Let me count the ways.
It doesn’t DO anything, it UN-Does something. It removes PART of the effect that someone else caused. It won’t fix the whole thing, only ‘bandaid’ part of it.
Its reactionary. As above, its a response, not a power.
It doesn’t help Mercy at all. It affects other players, not Mercy. The idea that cleanse would self-target, or hit Mercy as well as her target is wishful thinking at best.
This kind of power makes Mercy more team dependent to get value from its existence.
“Cleanse” Already exists: Zarya’s bubble shakes/soaks CC effects. You’re sugguesting something that another character already has. With Sym stealing her beam, and cleanse stealing her bubble, we might as well retire Zarya.
Personal bias. I don’t want to cleanse you. I don’t want to wipe your nose and clean your booboos. I don’t even want to heal you, and just want to shoot back at the enemy, but I picked a support, and if no one wants to heal you, it becomes my responsibility to avert a team wipe. I don’t want to take responsibility (and BLAME in its absence) for your status effects as well.
The temporal nature of status effects.
Sheildbash and flashbang; Do you SERIOUSLY expect a player to have perception AND reaction to anticipate, witness, respond to and avert a momentary stun?

Stop sugguesting cleanse. Its a really bad idea. Its the worst sugguestion I have ever heard for Mercy, its plain stupid, it doesn’t add anything, its reactive, and I am driven to irrational levels of antipathy for the proposal to further gut and devalue a character that is already suffering.

But since I maimed her after these 11 nerfs I love her
But deleting rez isn’t actually a good thing? i’d rather have her strong in other areas and weak in others than full time strong in every aspect
Mass Resurrect made Mercy weak so with that in mind, it can be balanced accordingly.
It didn’t make her weak she was annoying even at higher ranks because of the invencibility buff the thing is: she wasn’t a must pick and that is that.
That’s why she could ult on only it every 40 seconds
Okay, I can’t argue with someone who thinks mass Resurrect wasn’t weak. I’ll just let you think what you want to think.
