What would you do to fix Mercy?

The one and only way to make it balanced it’s either removing it or making available only during her ult. She is so damn good that it’s ridiculous the amount of effort you have to put on as Ana to get more value than the enemy Mercy.

Well I could get Valkyrie rly fast since triple tank is the new meta

Exactly this is why she’d still be good. The real issue with this community and i’m not talking about specifically Mercy players but the overall is that they don’t want their characters to be good, they want them to be broken. Just look at Sombra mains for instance.

So getting valk with a rez would make it look bad because it would only be for that reason

What you’re requesting has already been denied by Blizzard. They do not want to make Resurrect exclusive to Valkyrie.

Oh yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay me

Then i’ll keep to my statement from few months ago: Mass rez with cast time + no invencibility so this way she couldn’t just press shift and Q and get insta team rez.

a quick list of what I want
Valkyrie: 8 second, single beam with 100% more power in either beam
While Valk is active The Ult button becomes instant cast rez which can be used twice (Maybe once I’d like to at least try two.)
Ult charge rate increased by 20% (maybe more just a number I’d need to test before altering this

New E
Biotic Shield:: removes all negative effects and makes the target immune to CC and other Debuffs (this also includes knockback.) for 2 seconds on target, 8 second cooldown
This ability has it’s cooldown halved during Valk and reset upon activation.
It will target the Guardian Angel target normally and Target Mercy herself when the pistol is out.

This does several things

  1. It puts Rez back on the Ultimate where it is much easier to manage (mass rez somehow wasn’t OP and it had the power to rez 5 people so this should be more then manageable especially with even longer cooldown
  2. My balancing of Valk is simple. It has double the charge rate and average charge time of Coalesence, so we make the beams generally as powerful (slightly les so to account for the survivability of Valk.)and then the Rezes are why it’s double the charge rate.
  3. Biotic Shield should give Mercy the mid fight utility to not be relying on her Ult which is the main reason she was considered UP while Ana was good. Witout being oppressive

Throw in damage reduction and you have my blessing <3

Let’s be real. Given the reasoning given for Mass rez getting invuln in the first place It’s more then fair to give Mercy invuln if she gets the ability off

So with the damage reduction they can move rite?

It’s not. It’s a fair trade you trade yourself for your team to be alive because you’re most likely to die before or after they get rez. So you’ll just be feeding and pretty much forced to rez mid fight instead of waiting for your team to die or something like that.

You sacrificing yourself was the Soft counterplay and definitely furstrating “soft” counterplay
If you’re going to make it neigh impossible to pull off due to a cast time allowing for very hard counterplay (I mean it only took half a second to kill a Mercy after she rezzed before) then there is no reason to also have the soft counterplay it used to have

Yes but Resurrect will stop if you get out of resses radius.

Well what if enemy team gets a early pick which leads them to advance

1 second cast time, 30% damage reduction, NO INVENCIBILITY. What about now? Oh and cast time shall only be applied to 3+ rez 2- its instant.

I’ve s aid then isn’t twice but I have a question so both of you get reduction a d instead of dmg decrease how about a rapidly decay shield but it’s two second cast instead of one

1 second cast time
Invulnerability for the remaining 1.7 seconds IF she is able to pull it off
No damage rduction for the first second

This is all that is acceptable if you want to give a cast time to rez

Still not happening,
If you’re going to give that much counterplay then a mercy that was able to pull off that rez deserves to live
