If Mercy’s base kit gets split to 5 different people during Valkyrie shouldn’t her Resurrect get split to 5 different people in a 10M radius when it is used during Valkyrie?
I mean it only makes sense.
Mercy is taking time out of her ultimate to try and pull off a Resurrect and if 1 ally goes down close by because you can’t heal them while Resurrecting an ally shouldn’t she be able to Resurrect them both?
Edit:
- Mercy would pop Valkyrie with Resurrect either available or on CD
- Mercy would need to be in the same range to single target Resurrect as well as use the buffed Resurrect which is 5M
- The radius for allies to be Resurrected around the initial Resurrect target would be 10M.
- The same restrictions to single target Resurrect would still be applied to the buffed Resurrect during Valkyrie.
To compensate for a buff to Valkyrie I would suggest decreasing the overall time to 10 seconds.
Also reverting the speed that was nerfed to bring back Mercy’s mobility that we loved a lot.
I think that would give the nudge Mercy needs imo. Making the Valkyrie Resurrect (If she has it available) bring back multiple people would be fair and balanced to the opposing side from the counterplay Resurrect now has but it would be a huge risk/reward for Mercy if she managed to pull it off and bring back the game-changing aspect to her ultimate everyone misses a lot.
I think this would be a good implementation to try out and see if it works.
