Unable to play while suspended or banned - Lucioball

I am not banned from season 11. unable to play.

Its happened to me to blizzard plz let me play copa lucio ball

I was banned season 5 for connection issues and from lucioball as well and I get on today excited to play it for the first time and I can’t. It’s a bummer I can’t play but I hope the support team can fix it soon.

Trying to get the answer myself.
We shouldn’t be punished for something that happened a year ago.
Having a cross ban is kind of over kill ridiculous, especially since it’s causing issues now.

This is the same problem i have i got banned a year back for repeated disconnects when i was using my old crappy laptop on normal competitive now i upgraded to a beast pc havent disconnected once but ive never actully played competitive lucioball i dont have it in my tabs for competitive seasons i sent a ticket to blizzard they havent replied yet .

Same for me. I was banned from the competitive during the last summer games and I couldn’t play it then, which I already though was unfair being 2 different modes, but now this is too much to take in.

Yea I’m having the same problem to I email blizzard and they have told me to post here as the devs can look into fixing the issue . The guy that emailed me said he grant that I’ve done nothing wrong so to post on forms . Thing is by the time it gets fixed Lucio ball will probably be over :sleepy:

I have also been banned from copa lucioball even though I have not played it this season nor am I banned from comps. My Xbox gamer tag is saywhattowhom. Please fix this.

Today i speak with support via chat. He tolds me that he cant help me couse this kind of problem belongs to OW specialists and i can contact with them by making a ticket. So i’ve made ticket and after 2 hours “specialist” send me note, that they dont know anything about suspension problems and advise me to make a post on forums couse they cant check my suspension history and “Only the game makers can help You”. LoL :smiley:

A year ago, I got a ban on normal rankeds, so on Futbolucio i got too. The year has passed, the blockade on regular rankeds has passed, and Futbolucio is still ban. (sorry google translate)

Im not banned atm. But I was banned in Season 5, but why would I get punished for a ban that happened a year ago, which has nothing to do with Lucioball?

I remember being banned in last year’s Lucioball, don’t know if the bann was lifted before the event was over but wtf, why would I still be banned after a whole freaking year?

Edit (for more info): Last year’s bann (my first one) happened during a regular (non-event) competitive match but carried on to the competitive event mode as well. I remember now that I was still banned when the event was over. My second (and last) bann occured this year for abandoning a competitive match, but that was over a month ago and was already lifted.

This is the same issue for my sons account on Xbox one. He was banned rightfully so last year August 2017. Could not play that years competitive Lucioball, but next competitive season his ban was lifted and no bans since. This years competitive Lucioball is incorrectly showing him as banned, even though his account is in good standing.

Hey everyone, sorry for not following up recently, but I did get confirmation this bug is known and will be resolved soon. I don’t have any more details than that, so it may be something as simple as a server side hot fix so be sure to check back in the arcade menu every now and then.
