Entered a game of ranked, unable to move with menu overlay still open!?
Lost 50 SR and 8 hour ban from a timeout. Would like this rescinded please.

The same thing happened to me (this was on my Xbox account), I joined a match on lijang tower, picked Reinhardt, and then I couldn’t move. I could see every one else around me, but I couldn’t shoot, move, or use my abilities. I could access the menu and change hero’s, but I couldn’t move. I tried everything i could do without closing the game, but I still couldn’t move, and I got kicked for inactivity, and lost 50 SR.

This has happened now twice in a row, please fix this I have lost so much SR

This happened to me as well today. I selected my charachter and i wasn’t able to move. I still had the main menu tabs on the side and i could look at the skins for each charachter while everyone was running to point. I lost 50 sr and im upset.

Me too, in a comp game, I opened a loot box and the view item menu was still there and I couldn’t move. It irritated me cause I lost a huge SR and got banned.

Happened to me upon leaving a game during the POTG by using the “Open Lootbox” function in the menu. Chat menu stuck on the screen, upon joining a new game the main menu options also remained on screen. Screenshot: prnt.sc/l47onw

Exactly the same happened to me. Was on control, so I thought I’d try waiting out the first fight, then leave and rejoin, was kicked for inactivity before the point opened. -50 SR, 10 minute ban.

I just opened a loot box as I was loaded into a ranked game and the item I was looking at was the new 2018 Halloween Player Icon “Elephant”, and the text underneath it which is “Preview / Player Icon” was stuck on screen. So when it loaded me into the hero select for the comp game I could choose my hero, but then the other buttons or keys were not working. I couldn’t move my character’s view around either.
I could however still enter the menu using the escape key, my voice chat still worked, and the screenshot key also still worked. I could also re-select my hero, but nothing else. So I have a screenshot, but it says I can’t include links in my post. =\
Oh and I lost 60 some SR and was banned for 8 minutes. Is there any way to get a refund on my SR or some other form of compensation.

Lost 50 SR due to the bug, really obnoxious that I can’t control it.

This happened to me while tabbing out of Overwatch while waiting for a game. When i found the game, the main menu was overlain on the gameplay screen and I could only select a hero. Was able to talk to teammates and join voice channel. Explained that I was leaving due to bug
-50SR and temp suspension. This is the first comp game i’ve left
Hoping this gets fixed. AVOID COMP TEMPORARILY
