ALERT: Competitive Play is temporarily closed (Overwatch Dev Team investigating)

Hello everyone, As many of you have probably noticed, when the new patch launched, Competitive 27 prematurely ended and the Competitive Play card is currently locked. The Overwatch Development Team is aware and is investigating. Also, according to what I am told by Blizzard, it sounds like this was unintended. Meaning we should have both Role Queue and Open Queue once they fix this. I do not anticipate any changes to Competitive when the new season begins.

Comp is down. Per comp forum, they are looking into it.
