No. It’s popular, but they’ve only had a couple of decent entries since Modern Warfare 2 (2008). That’s not great for an annual franchise.

I know that some of my squadmates (from another game) who played CoD jumped ship to The Finals.

Everyone I know who plays the game seemed to hate it or get bored quickly and are on Finals/Apex now.
I asked why but didn’t listen to the answer because I can’t be bothered with COD.

This can honestly only go further downhill from here. So we went from someone that tried to keep old blizzard alive with activsion rule, thou ultimately gave up the battle as all his old pals left. Too a former blizzard employee coming back after finding his true calling in finance and realising he was a psychopath(the lad smirked reading is scripted apology during the blizzcon livecast, unreal) and should embrace it. Ousted hilariously enough by becoming a sacrificial lamb to protect Bobby. Back too a some what decent OG again, trying his best sort of, too this? Oh boi.
They are basically reverting every change that removed skill diff from the game, but slowly and they already lost a big chunk of the audience. Which has been combined with their inability to produce a good map. Also there was the misstep with WZ1 of making a terrible map combined with the WW2 themed game. RIP. Also the whole skin reset debacle. Never goes down well. Did they make more money that way? who even knows…

To be fair, there is still a stigma from past allegations/lawsuits. It may be a weird mix of “she is fully qualified” with “it’s a PR stunt.”
I don’t know what kind of influence she’ll have on OW2, but seeing as the only way the game can go is up, I’m not too worried.

Apparently she also worked under NFL, and her resume regarding that wasn’t exactly consumer friendly.
Considering the state of call of duty, where you need to spend 30$ to get the full battle pass in that game (And you cant use in game currency to get next one), I feel like the monetization of this game is going to become so much worse.
This isn’t going to turn out well for anyone except shareholders pockets.

What if the new president won’t make the other Blizz games like CoD but will prioritize CoD so hard that she diverts as much resources from the other games as possible?

well considering they propped up Activision’s division instead of Blizzard. I am going to bet you are correct. They will finish off the game.
Fantasy games don’t take priority over War mongering games this day in age it seams.
