Tanks: I'll show you a REAL Meme ExC

The “meme” card for the pro experimental is garbage. Every actually wild change was shot down and replaced with something stale like “Junkrat’s minimum mine damage is increased by five.” It’s time for us to get a REAL meme card with RIDICULOUS changes! I’ll focus on tanks this post because of how they absolutely slaughtered Wrecking Ball and gave the best buffs to the already best tanks. I might do the supports and dps later. For now, I’m buffing every tank to kingdom come with no intention of actual balance!


  • Critical hitbox reduced by 50%.

Fusion Cannon

  • Movement penalty while shooting removed.

Defense Matrix

  • Range increased from 10m to 15m.
  • Maximum uptime increased from 2 seconds to 3 seconds.
  • Now deletes Sigma’s Accretion.


  • Damage dealt increased from 10 to 30.

Self Destruct

  • Applies minor pull effect to people within 15 m.

New Passive: Gallop

  • Orisa moves at double speed and takes 50% less damage when moving in a straight line for two seconds.

New Passive: Noble Steed

  • Players can now “ride” Orisa by pressing interact on her when no one else is riding her. Constructions (such as turrets and traps) can also be placed on top of her.

Fusion Cannon

  • Movement penalty while shooting removed.
  • Reload time decreased from 2.5 seconds to 1.5 seconds.


  • Radius increased from 5m to 7m.
  • Ignores barriers.

Protective Barrier

  • Cooldown reduced from 10 seconds to 8 seconds.
  • Health increased from 600 to 700.


  • Can now be used while stunned, frozen, slept, etc.
  • Cleanses anti-nade.


  • Health increased from 200 to 250.



  • Knockback resistance increased from 30% to 50%.

Barrier Field

  • Health increased from 1600 to 1800.


  • Can now be cancelled.
  • Significantly more control over charging direction; Reinhardt can charge around wide corners now.

Fire Strike

  • Now has 2 charges.
  • Applies an additional 50 burning damage over time for 2 seconds (25 dps).


  • Opponents near Reinhardt are stunned for 3 seconds, while opponents further away are stunned for 2.5 seconds.

Scrap Gun

  • Targets hit by scrap gun are slowed by 25% for 1 second.

Chain Hook

  • Damage increased from 30 to 50.

Take A Breather

  • Now applies anti-heal effect to enemies within 10 m for 3 seconds.

Whole Hog

  • Shoots in every area around Roadhog instead of just where he is facing.
  • Roadhog receives 30% less knockback for the duration of Whole Hog.


  • Shield health increased by 50 (450 total health).

New Passive: Low Gravity

  • Sigma can now float when falling, similar to Echo and Mercy.


  • Amount of hypersheres increased from 2 to 3.
  • Gravitational pull effect increased by 20%.

Experimental Barrier

  • Health increased from 700 to 900.
  • Cooldown removed.

Kinetic Grasp

  • Can now be cancelled.


  • Now has a healthpool of 1000 hp.
  • Model size/hitbox increased by 25%.
  • Stun time scales with range again starting with the current stun as the minimum.

Gravitic Flux

  • Can no longer be interrupted when targets begin falling.


  • Armor health increased by 50 (550 total health).

New Passive: Primal Punch

  • Winston deals 50 melee damage instead of 30.

Tesla Cannon

  • Ammo capacity increased from 100 to 120.

Jump Pack

  • Cooldown is refreshed when Winston earns an elimination.

Barrier Projector

  • Cooldown reduced from 13 seconds to 12 seconds.
  • Heals Winston and allies inside the barrier for 30 hps.

Primal Rage

  • Generates 50% less ultimate charge for opponents.

Wrecking Ball
Quad Cannons

  • Ammo capacity increased from 80 to 100.

Grappling Claw

  • Can now attach to barriers.
  • Knockback nerf reverted.

Adaptive Shield

  • Cooldown decreased from 15 seconds to 12 seconds.
  • Ignores barriers.


  • Speed increased by 50%.


  • Projectile speed decreased from 12 m/s to 10 m/s.


  • Health increased by 25 (425 total health).
  • Self-knockback from secondary fire while jumping increased significantly (Zarya can now rocket jump over some walls).

New Passive: Stand With Me!

  • Allies within 10m of Zarya receive 25 shield health.

Particle Barrier

  • Maximum charge gained increased from 40 to 60.
  • Health increased from 200 to 250.

Projected Barrier

  • Maximum charge gained increased from 40 to 60.
  • Health increased from 200 to 250.

Graviton Surge

  • Radius increased from 6m to 7m.

Tl;Dr If everyone is OP, then no one will be.


see this is what I was expecting from the experimental that they made
I thought they were going to break heroes like giving tracer 200 hp 40 extra bullets and 1 seccond blinks
or ball has permanent 1200 hp
not this BS we got
it is for a tournament
it doesnt have to be balanced
it is supposed to be fun and intresting but it wasnt
people tried to impliment actual needed balance changes and heald back
also that stupid 2 per rule wasnt even enforced
ball had 3 nerfs.
just using tanks here was genius I would honestly increase grav radius to 10 meters to really make it a meme


I like it but Double barrier would become problem (again)

Also Sigma should have lower shield health than Orisa (she’s main tank after all)

honestly i would enjoy if all these passives went to live

Still this makes more sense than whole OWL, Pros and Blizzard’s balancing ideas.

Yes. That is true.


I would unironically trade critical damage removal for it being a self cleanse on all effects (burn, anti). It already does that for freeze or trapped effects like Junks trap and Zaryas grav


You call these changes “meme”, I’m actually interested in seeing these Live (bar two or three changes). These actually sound fun and… not broken? I guess “impactful” would be the word.

Hell, scrap those panel ExC changes and put these instead. At least there’s some thought about balance.

A weird middle ground of subtle tweaks to some and insane changes to others that on the whole aren’t all that interesting from an entertainment perspective nor interesting from a “pros balancing the game” perspective :woman_shrugging:t6:

The pro experimental changes were mind numbingly boring. Not to mention Genji got uber buffed without any compensation either, clear bias showing.

  • Alternate fire spread reduced from 9 to 8 meters
  • Dragon Blade: when Genji gets a kill during his ultimate, the duration is increased by 1 second

Roadhog: chain hook now pierces barriers and can go through the map.

the only hero I would say got an uber buff is tracer
(I did not see that though thanks for showing)

How is this not a legit passive for Sigma? Sure it’d be niche and not always useable but that’s like a third of the passives in this game.

Tracer, Genji, and soldier 76 got the biggest buffs with the most interesting changes, almost everyone else got boring buffs like junkrats minimum damage upped from 30 to 35.

genjis was not that big compared to solider and tracer torb got a better buff
