I don’t care. I’ll name them off I need to. Its time for this ignorant community to wake up.
I’ll be even greater scum by bringing up my old one, which I say again, proves my point where everybody hates long queue times.
I find it super funny. Heck, no… EXTREMELY funny that forum community (which is a vocal minority) wanted RQ in the first place, and look where it puts them:
Teams with inflexibility where you’re stuck with a DPS who often chooses Widow.
Guess what guys! Widowmaker doesn’t work in 2-2-2! Not with all those barriers!
Say Blizzard. Guys. May we switch Role Queue to the arcade already? Or you know. Get rid of Role Queue overall because you already implemented a LFG system that dedicated players could use?
That’s right folks. If you want to put your tryhard pants on, there is in fact a LFG system just for you if you don’t want to deal with the toxicity in QP or Comp for your convenience.
“But people don’t use the LFG mechanic!”
That’s not Blizzard’s fault. That’s you, along with the communities fault for not using it.
2 2 2 is the best thing that ever happened in this game … i can still remember the amount of people who use to say they will leave the game, if it doesnt change to 2 2 2 i am hearing this less and less, most players who complain are dps mains to be honest, since the waiting times are long especially when you start to get higher in ranks since there is a dime a dozen dps in the game.
of course i am being biased though since i tank and i was sick of seeing everyone was going dps and screaming about how bad they needed a tank and a healer and then we had a mercy pocketing her booster and me stuck alone on a rein
Why is it that people keep declaring their opponent ‘the vocal minority’?
I mean you’re just as loud and have just as much evidence as they do to make such a claim.
Silent Majority do not mean “everyone that is silent agree with the opposite of what people are complaining about”. It means a vast majority of the public of any media will not express their opinions in public.
They might agree, disagree or shrug any strong opinion layered down by the vocal minority, but the big point that makes them a silent majority is the SILENT part. They will not go into reddit or youtube to express their opinions, positive or negative.
If they are enjoying the game, they will keep playing. If they don’t, they quit and not speak about it.
Which is why I replied “not knowing what vocal majority means”.
People just use it because some content creators started using it, and they incorporated it on their vocabulary without giving meaning to the word. It’s a lot like “gamesense” that have different meaning depending on who you ask about it.
I explained what it means after that for public service.
Exactly. LFG was a flawed system from the very start.
So where do the leftover DPS players go?
As long as you can’t convince Tanks and Supports to play in an inferior 4/1/1 comp (even though they wouldn’t have a problem to find a 2/2/2, 1/3/2 or 3/3 group) DPS players would get the short end of the stick.
Blizzard designs the systems. The failures of the systems are on Blizzard.
LFG probably would never be that great (Prior to the official LFG you had several unofficial attempts at making some lesser versions of it none of which took off or were designed to do that much which suggests the demand was lacking) but, it probably could have been a bit better.
Many of the people initially brought into LFG/leading LFG groups aren’t the type of people you necessarily want to group with. If LFG had been around at launch, you might have had a better ratio of people with sticks to people without sticks but doing it as late as they did makes it harder.
LFG for example might have been workable by temporarily splitting it in half with the players that had used LFG being put in one section and the players that had never used it be put in another. Put incentives on the mode for the players that have never used it to bring people in at least temporarily. Then, combine the two and swap to a lesser incentive.
The purpose of the temporarily separate mode is to protect the existing LFG players from the people that are just doing it for the rewards that have never used LFG before and to protect the new players to LFG from some of the less lovely people that currently use LFG.
The thread here you used as an example was mainly talking about qp
And the thread right here the op later admitted that 222 isnt the problem its the meta that formed after it since the game hasnt yet been balanced for 222
