Yeah, this sort of crap, xamongst other things, is why I want to quit support and tank.
Played Torb and Orisa in a game. Had the shield for our Bastion, didn’t die at all in defence. Went 33-2 kd overall and got 22 stinking Sr.
I’m going to set up an alt account, for free, and just dps on it. I may end up silver or low gold, but at least I can have fun.
It’s just crushing doing my best as support on a team with 4 dps and not one can kill an unpocketed Pharah. Or I tank and my whole team run ahead of my barrier and get picked.
I want to make plays. Get the phat quad rip tyre, or go on a Torb rampage and kill 6 of the enemy team in a few seconds (happened once in qp). Sure, I can drop the beat at a clutch time, but it’s not the same as winning the fight.
When I amp speed through the choke and I’m getting bombarded and I look back and my team haven’t moved an inch…
This season has been real bad for teamwork for sure.
You’re part of the problem.
It is more difficult to reliably climb to a higher rank than to stay in that rank. Unfortunately, I can’t go into detail in every matchmaking thread.
It’s not entirely wrong to say that you can climb higher by playing better.
You simply have to play disproportionately better to be able to play with other players who may play much worse than you but have a nice shining rank.
And that’s the whole cycle, which is why you’re part of the problem.

I get it okay. I know there’s a crew out there whining incessantly, but the weird thing is for me that’s standard frustration from someone who’s really saying, “I iwant to raise my rank and have tried everything and nothing seems to work.” And then, of course, they argue with you when you try to give them help.
Just I also hate when people condescend on low ranks. Maybe that’s where you weren’t coming from and I misread it.
I think that explains it pretty well. Your buddy was awesome, but not awesome enough to make up for your shoddyness. Maybe you wouldn’t have lost that fight if you didn’t die and could heal the people who got beaten by two heroes with great survival. The Doomfist and Tracer have much better survivability than most heroes giving them a big advantage if their enemies aren’t getting healed.
I call BS. I’m only a plat player and I climbed my gold account using Zen with ~68% win rate. If you’re a diamond support main you do not get stuck in silver.

You for sure can drag the account out of the rank you are in. You could record your games and after each loss self reflect and see what you did wrong. You could join an overwatch pretenders team so you have good comms and get lots of experience. You could not blame it on your teammates. You are never stuck in a rank. You deserve to be there.
Agree, I’m certain I could get any hero except Rein to diamond on a fresh account without encountering any issues, at least not until high plat.
if it’s a against a 1800 silver and a 850 bronze i don’t see why it’s not fair
you could even make fair games with each player from a different bracket on each team
1 bronze 1 silver 1 gold 1 plat 1 diamond 1 master vs. 1 bronze 1 silver 1 gold 1 plat 1 diamond 1 master
the game is balanced team vs team, not member of one team against member of same team

The plat Pharah with silver Mercy pocket is something of a meme by now.
Was in a low plat game ahainst a 4 stack of 1 diamond dps boosting his 3 gold chums. At end he had 68% kp.
Bruh I garuntee that whenever you play “on your diamond account” people are hard avoiding you because they can see you playing like a robot. I can remember getting my friends account from 800sr - 3.1k sr while I was like a 3.2 player without losing one game and I did that twice.

It’s just a factual matter that OP can’t know the info unless he works there. Whether you’re paid to make all these posts aimed at the same thing, well that’s a matter of judgement.
You mean the thread you made that got locked because you called out the dev team? 
No, certain systems can be reverse-engineered. A deep-learning neural network probably couldn’t, though - even if you know the inputs you can’t know what it’s doing under the hood - kinda the point of them.
No, that would be an actual factual matter.
