After the rework didn’t they keep on buffing her. Those of us who played symm knew how powerful she was after the rework (and buffs)
Viable? VIABLE? She’s literally the best DPS hero on ladder rn and you’re complaining about a bit of a dmg nerf? Sym was always viable, just a niche pick. That’s what she’s built around.

We need to auto-lock old threads. Like, if they see more than 10 days without a new response just lock them. This is ridiculous.
Yeah, I did exaggerate, but she was always somewhat viable within her nieche.
I don’t really get that, old threads are still valid for discussion. I mean just look at titaniums thread.
Symmetra is litterally in the same place (balance wise) as she was when this thread way made, why can’t we talk about it?

Could we not necro ancient threads? I saw this and wondered what in the heck I missed only to find out it was from August of last year.
This necro bump sh is getting ridiculous. Wish I could at least block threads from appearing for me.
Because making a million separate threads talking about the same thing is better…or something lol

I would rather see a new thread that either quotes or links to the old one. This isn’t the 90’s anymore where forums are just adaptions of old dial-up BBS persistent chat software, or simple DB applications that wish they had a quarter of the features that MIRC does.
Necroing old threads is bad because a lot of the information in them is bound to be “expired”, dated and/or old. The overall idea may still be relevant, but the details are wrong.
No they are not. I got here because I really thought they nerf Symm again, and what I found is someone doing necro. Come on dude… it’s simple. People cant know that this thread is old in the post list.
Do you still feel this way especially seeing how much Sym is being played in OWL?

She’s still one of the least picked DPS, and as far as I can tell… she’s only being used as a “surprise tactic”

Bring back her barrier bypass orbs then.
She got an orb buff but I rarely use that. I would have preffered a beam buff since the balls take a while to charge. And the aoe is laughable. Piercing orbs was better aoe : /
Still the same Symmetra tactics so not much has changed despite the “she’s being used more in OWL, so she’s not bad” claims.
Use Symmetra in a non coordinated setup with enemies that aren’t brain dead (the ones who show how weak Turrets are) then use any of the other commonly picked DPS. Compare results on why Symmetra is top 3 of the worst.
Then you can have TRUE data.
