The better option is the latter, because over time they will improve, and right now they will decrease queue times
The wait times are just as long as before for me.
Not to mention it even charges me passes when the time is way beyond the estimated one.
They won’t improve if they try to play tanks like dps.
What’s more you can drop as a tank to bronze get tickets and still use them for your plat or higher dps.

Why is there no sr reset then? Why do we have to deal with all the bad dps who doesn’t deserve their rank as tanks?

yeah mate, I dont want to lose 25sr because some stranger plays a hero they dont know what to do anything with, go to qp and learn the basics then come into competitive where you actually get shamed for being trash because players in there values sr more than their humanity.

The fact that there’s a separate SR between roles now means that people will end up where they’re supposed to be on tank after enough games. In the meantime, it’s a good thing that more players are putting time into tanking. Playing more roles makes you better at every role.
Also, as a flex player, I’m loving priority passes. This is my first mostly-DPS season since role queue because I don’t have to wait 10 minutes per game now.

Of course they do. Me and a lot others were saying that since the things were announced. DPS mains queue for flex and play tanks as fat DPS cause they don’t care, they’re just there for the passes (had people just admit that).
There is certainly an imbalance in my mind regarding priority passes. If I win 50% of my games I get like 3.5 passes per game as I am where I belong. +1 for losing, +6 for winning.
It seems like I consume +1 pass per round of queue regardless of win and loss. I earn passes 3.5 times faster than I expend them. I feel like to make it even pass consumption should be a bit higher.
Something to get people to use the system and keep using and prevent an influx of resources. There are a ton of ways of getting it refunded or not used such as being in a party of 5 or 6. Queue times not actually being higher than 5minutes. If your wait time goes over, you get refunded.
That is how you learn tank, by playing it.
People should not only pick one role and play it forever.
You know, buffing those “DPS-y off-tanks” could’ve helped a lot. 175dmg Hog, pre-nerfed Hamster (like, release one), 20-ammo-per-right-click Zarya and priority passes wouldn’t look so bad. At least you’d get off-tanks that could do something instead of being fat ult batteries they are now.

when you see a tank with a golden weapon before the match starts its like “thank god” 
Adding on role queue when the game was never designed for it was bound to have issues when the roster is overwhelmingly DPS
