Well considering Rein and Hog mains are joining in on the crying along with pro Gengu’s Blizzard will do something like this.

Shield bash has cast time of 2s to aim.

Shield bash cooldown increased to 12 seconds.

Brigitte movement speed slowed by 15%

Shield Health reduced to 300hp

Damage reduced to 10 hp with 5hp/sec heals

Flail swing speed reduced by 50%.

This should make her fair so she doesn’t feel oppressive to everyone lol.

These changes would instantly put her in the trash bin. Never gonna happen.

1. She isn’t Doomfist with a possible OHK rocket punch
2. She isn’t McCree DPS that can delete heroes after her stun (besides tracer)
3. Uneccessary
4. Her shield is super easy to break as it is.
5. It will get buffed before it gets nerfed
6. 58 DPS is hardly in need of a nerf

The only nerfs she needs are:

1. Can no longer stun Rein through shield
2. Smaller hitbox on shield bash

I honestly don’t know, it’s a tough call.

Stun is undoubtedly one of the most powerful status effects in OW, but Deflect can literally turn Ultimates back on their users.

I doubt she would get a nerf before Moira.

In any case, the only alterations I feel like would be acceptable are:

1. Brigitte shouldn’t be able to shield-bash a charging Reinhardt if he’s coming straight for her
2. Her shield-bash matches its animation, or the animation matches its range.

No one who gives beloved Tracer this much of a hard time is going to be around for long (because heaven forfend Tarcer actually has a decent counter).

My money’s on either/both;

• Something stopping you chaining hits and abilities together

For Brigitte there are a few things we’re keeping a close eye on.

Is there too much max health gain potential now? Is Torb/Brigitte/Sym going to be some crazy thing where you stack Tracer up with so much health she becomes nearly unkillable for example?
Is her ultimate too strong? The fact that half of it can linger indefinitely and how powerful armor can be in the game, it might just be too strong overall.
Her stun burst combo. Even though she has fairly low DPS across the game as a whole, she can put out quite a bit of damage if you shield bash -> melee -> whip shop and it is fairly safe since they can’t really act until they are flying away from you.

This list is mostly a ‘this might be OP’ list, but there are other things we really want to keep an eye on such as making sure her Inspire passive feels useful and powerful, and making sure her ultimate is worth using in combat instead of only outside of combat for the lingering armor.

Don’t think a nerf is needed atm, but if something does get nerfed it’s likely not going to be the shield bash. I’m thinking flail RoF will be the first to go.
