guys let me remind you, this streamer said this was only tested, its not 100% confirmed yet
this was only considered because healing was too much, but also support having hard time dueling other player, esp tank
so they want to fix it by nerfing healing a bit
but give them damage to fight back, or utility to survive it
Yall complain NONNNN STOP that your support heroes are helpless and you can’t deal with flankers… but when the idea comes around to give them more damage vs healing so that you have better chances against them, it’s

They can’t say that there is much healing, when Mercy is what fails her!!! , removing more leaving it at 40 hp / s or less, they will turn it into a real filthy garbage.

Mercy’s middle of the pack in terms of Support strength. Not the best, but far from the worst, especially in low-mid ranks.
Also, you’re basing all of this on something that has NO evidence to be true so far. It’s amazing how people fall to pieces at a single person’s unsubstantiated rumors.

The only way support mains can see this as a bad thing is if they’re lazy & skilless and all they want to do is hold the heal button down all game and hide behind Rein.
God forbid they’re given the alternative of fending for themselves even just a little.

Mercy is totally wrong in OW2 and with these “supposed leak changes” it will be even more so, who would not want to see it, but the reality is this.

why would i want to dps if I’m queued up for support? the solution isn’t to give them damage (so they’re like every other role) but more utility to survive until they can get to a safe place or get a teammate to help.

Mercy heals too much compared to other supports, her healing needs to be toned down, and anyway you should relax, many got their mains destroyed, this game is mostly an early access now in 3-6 months you can expect MOST heroes to be playable, for now, try to learn a new hero for once. If Mercy will prove to be too weak after the nerf that she is POSSIBLY getting (not even confirmed), they will buff her, Blizzard ALWAYS balanced every hero to be 50% winrate in low GM…
This is why nobody likes Mercy mains btw, they act like their main is the only one getting gutted or EVER being unviable.
God forbid you can’t 1 trick Mercy for ONE season, it’s not like a similar fate happened to many other main, like Widow, Genji, Winston, Rein, Lucio mains.
This is why nobody likes Mercy mains literally.
