she can easily break 10k healing/10 in 5v5 while other “main” supports struggle to reach 8k/10 and it’s not uncommon for heroes like Ana to have games where you are at 6k/10.
Meanwhile Mercy is ALWAYS at least 10k/10, I’ve even seen 12k+ not so rarely.
Quit being entitled, get in line and get a number and quit being a 1 trick, many got their mains destroyed including me, you don’t see me opening 10 threads about it, grow up you and all other Mercy mains.
One of the ways Overwatch has always stood apart from other team shooters is that healers have always healed WAYYY too much.
It really is going to be fine if they tone that down a bit.
As long as your support character heals any amount at all, their role is secure and distinguished. After all, healers in other similar games heal WAYYYY less.
Sorry but you’re still wrong, Mercy isn’t the most healing support out there, Mercy can’t keep a TANK alive like ANA, Baptiste or Briggite can, you’re totally wrong.
What does that have to do with giving them better DPS to defend themselves?
I am also not just singling out Mercy.
If the rumor is true (And it might not be), they will do this to ALL supports.

Because the one who is wrong of all the supports is Mercy, by nerfing her healing you turn her into a more complete garbage, trash and dead.
I like how I made no mention of Mercy and they somehow managed to play victim as though this HAS TO BE ALL ABOUT Mercy.
You act as though they wont give it ANY tradeoff, when the rumor specifically states that there will be trade-off to make them more damage oriented.

MERCY DOESN’T NEED MORE DAMAGE, we’re sick of being treated like this, she can’t even keep a tank alive in OW2 and now you want to further nerf her healing?, not even a dps can keep you alive with the nerfed healing, a joke in bad taste, enjoy, that the Mercy mains will leave the game and the role support will be almost empty.

Those of us who play support, we don’t play to be DPS and start killing all the time, for this you have the ROLE DPS.
Supports will still heal and thus be diatinguished from DPS. They will still fulfill their niche.
The only argument I can see is how blurry the line can get between Soldier being DPS or Support because of his healing ability.
This is a rumour with an unverified source. People really need to only treat actual sourced information as news.

A rumor that unfortunately will end up being true, like that leak of the patch notes a few weeks ago before the launch of OW2.
She has lower than average healing. Like, Moira, Ana, Kiriko, Baptiste, easily outheal her in terms of healing per second. Lucio and Brigitte can even give Mercy a run for her money in terms of healing numbers in the right comps/situations.
Btw, Mercy is definitely not the worst hero. That would be Symmetra right now in my opinion. Other heroes are definitely worse. However, among supports, she is the weakest right now, just because her kit doesn’t translate to OW2 well.
You say that, but most support players don’t enjoy just healbotting either.
