I bought Overwatch yesterday, dld it and it doesn’t start. As many I have the problem where it gives a black screen for few seconds “plays” for two seconds like it worked and then closed itself. I have all the requirements to make it work. I read online different things you told people to do, what they told eachothers and nothing worked. I installed it again, reunstalled the entire launcher, looked for contrasts between programs, turned the anti virus off and reset it from the launcher’s game options. Nothing worked. I’ll wait for your reply. You want the Dxdiag file but it doesn’t let me put it here so tell me how to give it to you 
This is generally the sign of a Razer Chroma compatibility issue. If you remove the old version and install the new one, make sure to reboot after.

Do you have the error section at the end? That might help point out the problem causing all this. Even when there are no errors, there should be some text that mentions that at the end of the report.
That’s wierd too, there’s no text anywhere once it closes it’s like it shuts down on its own and the launcher just goes back to saying “play” as if I had to open it again normally :((

I’ve just started having the same problem as well. It had never happened before, but after installing the Windows 10 update yesterday, I now keep having this problem. I have Razer Synapse, but I don’t think it’s the fault of that because this has never happened until today.
I have windows 7 so I doubt it has to do with windows.
Yesterday there was a update for Razer via windows updates. I rolled back my driver’s today downloaded the Razer software from the website installed it and the game launched.
I’m a volunteer. 
The text I’m talking about would be in your Dxdiag at the end of the report, not on your desktop when the app closes.
You could also check out the old version of the Razer drivers like another player suggested. And if you’re still stumped, go ahead and open a ticket with the staff. (click support in top right corner)

No problem. One other thought was after you open Overwatch and it doesn’t do anything, check the Reliability Monitor (search for it on the Start menu). I’m think that’s available in Windows 7.
Definitely an issue via Razer Synapse. There was a recent update yesterday, ever since the update was installed, it won’t launch. I’ve uninstalled it and changed to an older version, this article really helped me! Thanks.
