Same problem. Same IP is the Problem.

Ever a fix? Not an issue with other games Blizzard…

I just tried HOTS to check if it was Blizz games/servers as other games worked properly with normal latency (where Overwatch is randomly giving me 40,90,120,and 350-400ms latency).

HOTS latency was a stable 25ms…

Been having a slight ping increase not as worse as people on Bell my ping usually stays at 40 normally but recently it just played around 80 -100 ms same goes to another co-worker of mine who I party up with from time to time

While we don’t have any updates yet, wanted to let y’all know that this is still on our radar. As with the previous post the spikes that we are seeing are generally occurring when going through Level 3 and so may affect any ISPs that route through there. The only workaround for the time being would likely be to alter the route using a VPN. Past that though, we’re looking into this and will be posting updates as we get them.

Hey moderator, I have same issue as well except it is not spike. It is most of the games I joined experience 340-360 ping. very rarely I can get into a game with less than 100 ping.

I tried HOTS again. It is all Blizz games/servers that have this problem :frowning:

I get 25ms to LOL though…

No update ?
still happening every 3-4 game, very constant.
When it happens, the ranked is almost 100% lost and I literally have to wait about 45 mins to drop down.
I get into custom game, wait for the latency to drop from 380 to 40 and i’m good to go another 3 to 4 games…
Every WinMTR is showing the same thing, should not be that hard to fix is it ?

Just to let you know that a Bell rep contacted Blizzard’s CSR on my behalf and obtained some information from them in regards to peering. The same Bell rep forwarded this to Bell’s NOC which he has opened an internal ticket with.

Hopefully we’ll be able to play soon.
