Doubt you will make everyone understand that. Adepts of mechanical skill worship Ana, even while Ana is best used on tanks…making whole “mechanical skill” argument kind of weak.
DPS players should want to have reliable tanks and supports, but for some reason they hate them instead.

I remember time, when Mercy was “too good”. It was really long time ago.
When she again can maintain team in good shape against focus fire and burst damage, I would agree with calling her “too good”. But today is not that day.
Firstly Mercy ain’t the go to pick when dps are forced to play support for their priorty passes and when a troll decides to smurf mercy isn’t their number 1 pick for op heros. People stick with her for any number of reasons: her lore, passive nature, look of the character model, physical disability that hinders their ability to play more complicated heros, her mobility.
Her damage boost hasn’t changed since launch, what has changed is tanking / shields been dumpstered and dps been overbuffed. So time to tone the dps cast down and then maybe tanks will be more playable as well.
Damage boosting a bronze mc cree isn’t going to make you rapidly climb but give a pro a dps character that has already been buffed to the max and apply damage boost then you have a staking problem. The thing is that pro with the buffed dps would probably rip the enemy team without damage boost anyway.
Orisa, bap, zen, ana all have better buff/debuffs that allow the team the benifit as well as themselves and do more damage themselves.
Go take mercy into death match and see how she dominates, she can’t even use most of her kit on herself.
In conclusion stop trolling, stop being that 9 year old kid who complains that the kid next to them has a slightly bigger slice of cake this time round. Just play what you want and stop worrying about what everyone else is playing.
