My point is subjective does not mean unreasonable, nor that subjective option A is the same as subjective option B.

i can see your point but you delivered it in a poor way, all im saying is just because you dont enjoy something that doesnt mean others are forbidden from enjoying it if the main point of all of these posts was that mercy is weak i that would be understandable but the main point used is that “mercy is not fun”

What if Beiber decided to completely change the genre of music he played, and his fans hated the new direction?
Mercy’s issue is about how she got huge changes that her playerbase hated, and that hate arguably only simmered down because a lot of them quit the game once it became clear that the devs didn’t care what the Mercy players think about the rework… And the new Mercy players can’t miss what they never had.

True that. A lot of times when people complain about Mercy it’s easy to see they aren’t looking at the playerbase or the game as a whole, they are only talking from their personal feelings. Which I guess isn’t bad, until they fail to realize and admit that that is exactly what they are doing.

ive been a mercy player before her 5rez hide & seek and i also didnt enjoy how they changed it but they did, im enjoying the current mercy and i dont see any flaws with her, shes good in the meta and shes fun for me, telling “mercy mains” to stand up for them selves and want the tray instead of the cookie by your wording (or someone else i honestly forgot too many mercy posts),
basically for me this is like the old rez, forcing a change i dont want.
I mean, people have a right to be upset when the hero they mained originally gets a drastic change, regardless if it made the hero stronger or worse

secondly, I agree fun IS subjective, but let’s not forget part of the reason Mass rez was removed was it was unfun to play against an “prompted” and unfun tactic of hide and rez(which never was a big issue, only became so after Invul)
So when exactly IS fun allowed to be an argument? When it’s against mercy?

If only there was a way to enforce a statute of limitations on how long people can be upset over something that happened so long ago. There’s been more than enough time to get through the stages of grief. I imagine most of the people who still complain about it are probably young and haven’t had enough life experience to learn to cope with the harsh realities life throws at us. It’ll come.

Sure, but they should recognize that the overall game is more important than 1 hero. Current Mercy is a good balance of unique mechanics and having room for expression.
Old Mercy was way too specialized for a support. I think they were forced into either nerfing her into just being straight up bad or doing the rework.

Mass rez was removed due to undesirable behavior it brought to the game
