Mercy (apparently) not fun?

there are alot of threads about this topic, let me clarify that
"FUN IS SUBJECTIVE"
there’s nothing wrong with mercy and no she does not need any rework or any buff or any nerf, saying that a hero isnt fun to play because you dont enjoy them doesnt mean they should be changed, and ive seen alot of people talking about mercy win rates which is fine? i dont understand what the big deal is??

mercy win rate: (50.70% as of the time im writing this)

winston win rate: (46.80% as of the time im writing this)

im sick and tired of these mercy (edited cause i was wrong about using the word sorry btw) telling me what i should and should not enjoy.

Shouldn’t the parentheses in the title be around the word ‘apparently’? Like wouldn’t it make more sense to have it be read “Mercy (apparently) not fun”?

I personally don’t understand people who don’t enjoy Mercy trying to change her entire character.

There is no “Ah, yes… I did something good.” like a Reaper getting a 3+ kill Deathblossom, or a Rien Hammerdown, into a 3 player kill. Hell even an Ana can get some satisfaction with a Nanoblade or NanoTac, etc. We mercy players just stand there pressing our beams of choice, and well that’s it. And not only is that boring… we get called Lazy, for picking what is/was one of the better healers.

That word can get you banned btw, I know it first hand, however, if you’re looking for a word to refer to them just call them anti-mercy, since they dislike current Mercy so much and then those who enjoy her and play her are just Mercy players!

Hmm, I do neat stuff pretty often with Mercy. Sure it doesn’t pop up my name 3 times in the kill feed, but it can still make the difference of winning or losing… or on the smaller scale, whether my teammates and I live or die.

I’m just tired of the same duplicate “hero x needs to be reworked bc i specifically don’t enjoy the hero” threads.

If its that’s boring and it feels like a chore, you know that no one is forcing you to play her?

Both I guess.

I like how Mercy plays, easy to use and generally effective. Also damage boosting a hog as he hooks someone is satisfying, because I know I’m helping get kills that way.

She use to be, hell even in the small era of “tempo rez” now the only enjoyment left is playing GA tag from one teammate to another hoping they see the Genji /Tracer/Sombra on you.

huh? please I’ve gotten 4 kills in a row by simply using valk and then a Rez, you’re called lazy not because you pick mercy but because you choose to play passively

Yes, you are right, so next time I’m in a mate with 4 DPS and someone actually picks a tank… I’ll go Junkrat… that’ll do it.
