I just tried with disabled hyperthreading, although it didn’t fix the issue, it did last a little longer before it froze.
And this time, instead of freezing without any error message, one popped up that said “Your rendering device has been lost. Application closing!”
Can’t say if this is a step forward or back, but I’m going to emblem hyperthreading against, so as to not mess around with my settings
I tried creating a new windows user and it has worked so far. Already playing for 30min and no freezing.
Also, don’t know if it’s connected or what, but putting the game in windowed mode makes the freeze happen a lot faster for me.

Sadly, it didn’t work for me. Are you doing anything else other than just creating a new account? Is there anything special on that account? Maybe I’m just doing it wrong

Same problem here RTX 2060 i7 16 GB RAM and still freezing time at time, no fps drops btw.
Hey! I have the same problem, my specs are:
i5 4210u
gt 820m (2gb vram)
8gb ram
windows 10
and the only way I could find to fix this problem is putting Overwatch to run in real-time priority on task manager, but my entire OS feels more laggy after I close Overwatch. I don’t know if putting Overwatch on real-time priority is safe, but it worked. I played for a few hours without freezing.
I’m not able to test myself right now, did anyone else try this ?
For real, it’s so annoying. I’ve been kicked out of 10 games at the least!

Funny how a problem with watchpoint pack, where buyers didn’t get the 2000 coins got solved faster, than this, where we literally can’t play the game… So sad.
same here, i can play other games, AC oddysey 60 fps, i can play TARKOV 60 fps but i get freeze in ow 2 really lol and annoying i hope we dont get ignored by blizzard
Having the same issue on my end as well…highly annoying, I have tried disabling all overlays, disabling virus protection, updating drivers, removing my overclock, closing all other programs, update c++, restart pc, repair game files, and reinstalled the game completely. This is uncalled for, I cannot even get into the game to spend money to get the stuff I want. Please reply or fix this issue asap.

8 min to crash when i start a match (2 in training mode, tf?), but it runs surprising smoothly until then
Same. After yesterday, game freezes whole PC during Queue forcing me to hard reset the computer every time. I see the only resolve is to reinstall Windows 10. Only game that does this.

Same problem. I’ve tried everything. 
Glad to know it’s not just me but just small tip so people aren’t reseting pc every time. Control windows D will create new desktop. Control windows right/left arrow lets you swap to it. Open task manager there to close overwatch.
