Did anyone notice that her 3D holo-animations(whatever that are called) are “White”…

Aka Support confirmed?

Aka at 1:11 (followed by something sus and familiar to tracer)

Then again at 1:37

I would not read too much into it to be honest.
Especially because heal support color is usually yellow after all.
But who knows. Hopefully we see more soon.

Especially after this quote recently:

I wouldn’t be too hopeful

I know I have doubt.

(Though the changes I suggested in the past kinda line up.)

Yeaaah, I mean, the fact that Sym does not get a full rework next beta could mean that they save it for later as it’s not ready yet, but that’s just hopium probably.
I mean, I do like current Sym, I also liked past Sym. So I would rather they not screw it up completely by giving her an entirely new kit again.
Some bigger balance changes are needed though.

Yellow beams would get confused with Mercy Beams.

not really… they would have to be carbon copies of mercy’s beams in functionality to even start with that argument, but when it comes to healing they keep it a uniform yellow to make it obvious what something’s doing, they wouldn’t randomly change it to white cause they decided to give symmetra a mercy heal beam

I’m hoping for a role swap back to support, I always will since I don’t get to play her much in ow1 anymore. But either way I’m happy that she’s looks absolutely amazing and as long as she’s viable for the sym dps gang then that’s all we can hope for.

Agreed. I had 600+ hours on Symm and the role swap rework made me drop her completely
