Latency / hit reg issues east coast

My latency used to be around 40-50ms. Lately, I’ve been seeing 70ms regularly and sometimes as high as 90ms. Hit reg issues abound and it’s making it difficult to play.

Your ISP or their routing partner were part of the large connection issue happening to 4-5 ISPs across the country. The servers have been fine, but the routes those ISPs use to reach Blizzard were not. Please see the giant thread covering this here:

I feel like this has been going on since the summer games event. I don’t have any traces from then though.

Hmm, well, the test you posted isn’t showing anything happening really. All of your packets are making it to Blizzard, and the high numbers on the Blizzard hops are inflated due to ignoring ICMP pings.
