"its quick play" is just your excuse for throwing

you could also try VS AI if you wanna just learn hoe to use the character

until blizzard enforces teamwork comp is worse than qp

If you’re finding comp lacking, advocate for changes to that mode rather than try to turn qp into comp

I genuinely do believe it is just a game which is also why I do not care too much about salty reports. Not going to lie, I got sent a friend request that I believe was accidental due to a report, so my Sistah Spice and I hit 'em with the two for one. It was a Sombra player, so I do not feel bad about it.

:muscle::sweat_smile:

Because a gamemode that entirely lacks nuance is not at all the same as playing against real people lol.

Form your own team so you don’t have to expect anything from a total stranger. There you can enjoy “command and conquer” simulation on OW. If not you are the problem for not realizing this fact and keep complaining

People who get serious during QuickPlay, having a go at team mates are toxic. Don’t get me wrong, I always try/fill roles needed but not gonna cry over practice mode.

if it’s a question of whether to play vs AI or QP to learn the move set of your Hero, you can learn the moves and how to play the character mechanically in VS AI Mode. Sure , you’re not getting live people , but that’s not what the problem is here. If you go into QP with a character you’ve never tried or don’t even understand the basics or passives of the hero, 4 other people at the very least are going to be annoyed or not have fun. Now multiply that with back to back games of people consistently using QP to figure out a hero, and it ruins the games who are trying have fun in a non comp mode. I don’t buy the argument that QP is for people who don’t want to try to win or at least try. The game gives you many different options to try to learn a hero from VS AI to Creative where you can do just that…learn to play the hero.

Is just qp is what i say when I say Pharmercy or Sombra in a match, since is impossible to counter those until you are a hitscan player and I am not.

so ‘‘is just qp, I go on autopilot till next match since I can’t do anything’’, maybe if we get rid of these stupid qp leaver penalty you will get a better player if I leave the match, but you all cried over a qp leaver lol

They are literally admitting to playing the match. I report them 100% of the time. Everyone should.

It would be better if they would leave and someone who wants to play comes in, but alas we know Blizz encourages toxic players to stay in as long as they don’t SAY anything toxic to hurt someone’s feelings.

If you really want to win, go play competitive. Anyone that tries out new stuff doesn’t do it just to throw other peoples games, they obviously try since they hope to get better at a certain hero.

there’s also people that just wanna sit down, relax and vibe out with their duos in quickplay after a hard day of work or something. they just wanna treat the standard format of this game as what it is, a casual game mode.

Asking for swap in quickplay is the cringest thing ever, no one can stop you to do so, but if they don’t wanna swap, you have to accept it.

You mental booming over someone’s throwpick or misplay in quickplay is probably contributing to a lot of your L’s, not the teammate.

If you don’t like it take your rear to comp then. And lets not forget this is all because the retards at blizzard thought a leaver penalty in non-ranked matches was a good idea because the only ones that whined about it were the people who couldn’t cut it in Ranked matches.

This is cringe, go sweat it up in ranked.

So i went and “sweated” it out in comp. Guess what I heard. Its Plat no one cares.

its this mentality that is everywhere that is the problem

LMAO, I’m not talking about being a brand new player and not knowing anything. I’m talking about getting better at certain heroes. I can and have played pretty much the entire roster.

Certain characters however require a lot more practice than others. I won’t play Doom in Comp because I am just nowhere near good enough with compared to the other tanks.

I am not talking about learning a hero as a brand new player to the game, when people say “learn a new hero” they are usually referring to becoming competent on that pick. If we were talking about new players then they are essentially learning every hero, and they generally do that qp too.

Just because I’m not playing my main heroes does not mean I am not trying to win. People can practice off heroes and still be trying to win, those 2 aren’t mutually exclusive.

I’m not forcing anyone to do anything I’m giving you the solution to your problem.

QUICKPLAY not “sweat play” :stuck_out_tongue: :stuck_out_tongue: :stuck_out_tongue:

Your solution has proven to cause panic attacks and high blood pressure for me. And I have proof.

That doesn’t help me.

Basic OW experience.

Truthfully one tricks are fine in comp even. If people get angry at people playing their optimal hero and not swapping that is on them. Learn to chill and enjoy the game more.

Mastering a hero also means knowing full well when it doesn’t work.

As the most successful top players who hit number 1 on heros via one tricking have stated, always gave a secondary pick.

Its not so much “give up on your hero” its a mind game to swap for a bit see how the opponents react and if it frees up your hero choice then swap back.

So idk what this idea of “never swap! Never surrender!” Is or where it came from when the most successful one trick players even swap just to FREE UP their heros of choice.

Not to mention that they are equally as good on other heros too…usually as a means to understand your opponents’ heros and give more of an edge, but also as a backup plan.

So no. Your ideals aren’t about some righteous means to uphold the right to play. It’s more of an oppressive means of telling others “deal with it.” And more of a hindrance to these players attemptinf to become one trick specialist then anything else. Which is sad because MOST don’t have what it takes, do it improperly, forego the basics, create massive obstacles such as cementing their bad habits, and many just will never get there.

This is also not factoring in to how some heros ARE JUST NOT FOR CERTAIN PLAYERS.

I have written guides on how to find your playstyle, your hero, how to train, how to improve the fastest way possible, and get more enjoyment out of the game.

Players simply will just experience pure frustration by this notion that they need to extremely limit themselves to a miniscule amount of the game to chase this dream of “wrecking newbs” which never happens for most of thek anyways unless they already spent 50 of their playtime losing just to get a 50% winrate.

So its never worth it when you think about it logically. That stubborn one trick mentality is all the bad parts of the community and the game right now.
