But really did no one remember Geoff still hasn’t said what’s going on with Sym Healer rework yet.
He said about 5 months ago that he was going to be trying to get Sym as a Support again.
Then silence. (Nothing since…)
Arg… Would have totally asked if I wasn’t having the worst week.

TBH she is getting a rework, but I am not sure it is for healer. They might keep her a DPS, or not. Last Q&A they mentioned that they might try support again.
I would like to know what is planned for a Sym rework in general. Also maybe someone did ask, but no one answered. Which tends to happen a lot.
Pretty sure Geoff said testing Sym as a Healer to me in the AMA…

GEOFF - This is something we’ve been experimenting with, and talking a lot about. No hero has moved roles yet though, but we’ve started testing Doomfist as a tank (as previously mentioned)
if its happening (and as ive said before - i really doubt it)…it still hasnt been worked on
Geoff tends to be a bit confusing. Yet from what I gathered they might test Sym support to see if it will work or not.

Sorry to hear about your week but on your question everything from the prior QA implied this was a post OW2 “maybe they will try and see if it works” idea so I would be surprised to see it in OW2 launch.
I hope it means they havn’t decided yet and are still testing different directions with her.

oh if you want to be optimistic about it…that statement (much like his previous statements) is not by any means a confirmation they arent doing it…but just going by word choice now and then…im just really doubtful that its something they will do…it sounds like something thats really low on priority list
5v5 and a lot of the other passive changes and more is going to make her less a Dps more then ever.
I hope they didn’t just give up because “she’s fine right now on live”.

Show me 5 Symm posts this month, with low attention span focused formatting (I.e. Written like a resume), posted on their own discussion post, with changes that looks like patch notes, along with a brief description of the problems she facing, and how each change will help resolve those problems.
I kinda doubt those exist.
Anything less than that isn’t enough.
