Holy sh*t, nothing has changed!

I am going to be honest, I am a little bitter about Ana. There seems to be serious favoritism surrounding her.

I was sick of her back then but she was still one of my favorite supports, I just wanted to see some other supports in my game.

At this point I am just sick of her existence. All the redeeming factors I used to see in Ana are now gone. People don’t seem to understand but Ana like any hero has a fundamental impact on how games are played. When Ana is in your game, you can expect to be slept, you can expect your team to get fubbernucked by an anti-nade, you can expect healing to be somewhat inconsistent if you are playing a small hitbox hero.

I just want some change, pls!

Ana is the chosen one, have you not learnt this by now?

Even a large portion of the community want her to remain meta forever. Partly for selfish reasons and partly because they see the other supports as lesser than Ana and don’t deserve to be meta.

Maybe she’s not picked because she’s the strongest hero? As she hasn’t been for the majority of the past two years

Basically if you tone her down too much you won’t see me q for healer ever again, and like me there are plenty other players.

She’s been the topped picked support for about two years. Last summer she had a brief period where she wasn’t meta due to heavy bunker double shield comp.

She’s been pretty much always at the top. The other supports need to be brought to her level or she needs a proper nerf.

Her kit is just way better than the other supports.

But she hasn’t actually been the best, just the most played, which probably shows a lot. People just want to play her

I agree.

That “samito” guy also seems to think that Ana deserves to be the only viable support in the game.

Ironically, I think that Ana is also quite well balanced.

As soon as Mercy got her sledgehammer nerfs, many players gravitated towards Ana and it has been Ana every day ever since.

So, why when Brigitte go around the same pickrate as Ana in the past, it was because she was OP, but Ana have a different standard?

Ana don’t need much to be balanced. Just reduce the antihealing to a 50% healing debuff.

Because pickrate isn’t everything, do you not see any reason that people in ranked would pick heroes that feel good to play?

Goats was zen/Moira, original double shield was Lucio moira, middle double shield was bad zen, there was like 12 weeks of Lucio ana then to newer double shield with bap brig being the strongest supports.

This seems inaccurate. GOATS was all kinds of formations, but Brig/Zen/Moira lasted for only a tiny portion of it. The majority of GOATS was either Brig/Zen/Lucio, or Brig/Ana/Lucio. In the first double shield Ana showed up a bunch with a variety of supports(Moira, Bap, Ana, and Mercy all got time as I recall), and in the last double shield she was outright meta? I saw Brig/Ana in every GM stream I watched(and OWL).

She was played in sombra goats, sometimes, which only some teams played. For like a month. Not exactly a long time, before that the flex support was zen and before that Moira, you basically never saw ana being played at a high level. Double shield she just did everything worse than Moira because of all the shields so that’s bs. And I can’t think of the last time I saw ana in double shield this year besides when some teams thought it was good with genji for like a week

Throughout the entirety of GOAT on ladder, Ana was the most picked support.

For the entirety of first double shield except 1 month, Ana was the 2nd most picked support.

I fully agree with this.
Don’t get me wrong, I like all the supports and play them all to various levels.
But I’m just sick of Ana
Trying to say that she can be meta because she take “more skill than the other healers?”
She’s not that complicated.
