honestly reminds me a character select screen for a voltron/power ranges (super sentai) like game.
be cool if they had some merch for the others in game like the plushies and stuff

for blizz to do that theyd have to be crazy unique so as not to feel generic in regards to DVA. Hammond for example only shares the mech/pilot robot style. even the guns behave different enough

I’d be so down for that. I had a similar thought too, they’d all have to play pretty differently, but we didn’t really get to see what those other mekas can do - they are obviously not all DVa mek clones :slight_smile:

I mean, it was an enjoyable piece of animation, but, yeah, I would have liked some character development.

Don’t know I don’t waste my time on overwatch lore. It doesn’t make a difference in a hero’s backstory when I’m putting them down.

But a lot of people are complaining that shorts don’t have enough time to develop a story and I think Pixar does it quite well.

true but visually theyre so similar blizz probably wont do it sadly. be great if they did tho. even a skin for each one for dva would be cool

I love it, its actually pretty good and made me very exited for Dva, the world of Overwatch and i even want to play Dva now!! so i would say it was a success!!

The MEKA’s look freaking awesome, i hope one of them becomes a hero in the future, i particularly like Casino and D.mon!!

Oh but don’t forget one omnic will destory a nation’s natural defense and kill 1000s.

I mean Hana was THE ONLY MECH and line of defense in the whole coastline of that city.

Kinda fishy if you ask me. An attack with only 8 omnics and one defender for an entire city that is famous for its robust meka squad and technology?

Talk about an oversight.

It’s a short about a videogame, not a author movie. Does it lack of depth? Yes. Are your expectations too high? Hell yes.

Any short that came out after Honor and Glory was going to fall short as far as expectations go. In my opinion this one was good, better than Infiltration(which was also decent).
