Character development is actually the only thing that it has.

I am disappointed that there is no lore progression too but saying that it suck is just harsh.

like to dislike ratio seems to agree more with me, if majority actually thinks “it sucked” it would atleast have a large amount of dislikes and even then its still his opinion, title assumes that everyone hated it

Showed some possible glimpses of Hana’s true nature and burden.

This reeks of more of a set-up short rather then a historical look back. DVa is being set up for some character development and future interactions with OW/Talon

??? The war on Omnics ended. That is why Overwatch got disbanded. The war had ended and some atrocities done by the blackwatch surfaced in the news creating an outrage as OW was publicly funded.
Now things are run by Talon globally which we have no idea if as an organization is controlled by omnics, humans or whom. We know that they use Omnics, dirty politicians, gangsters, military officials, energy companies,weapons industries to control the world. Why do you think Winston make the recall of OW? To fight whom? The omnics? Nope, to fight Talon.
As for Talon we know that somehow reaper is involved with them as well as Sombra, Moira and Doomfist and we know that they are trying to steal OW artifacts (weapons used during the omnic war) to use them for something, but we do not know for what exactly.

The short was cool and epic, hats off to blizz for it❤️

But was it worth the wait?

I’m still waiting for that story to move, when are we going to see people start picking sides already.

Dude, the short was good, and it did add some lore, and helped to develop the OW universe with subtleties - you are thankless.

Also the Meka Squad looks pretty cool and I wonder if we can expect any of the other members to be playable characters in the future? :heart_eyes:
