apparently the bug wont be fixed until next season which is frustrating but whatever. i have over 6k comp points i grinded for that i haven’t been able to use for weeks because i refuse to buy jade guns, they’re so ugly.
Where’d you see that it wont be fixed til then?

I guess it would be foolish to hope for a patch before the end of the season from now on. I wouldn’t even be surprised if they don’t fix it in the new season updates at this point.
i genuinely expect the new season to come out, be really hyped to finally buy my gold gun, and then just get hit with ‘‘you do not have enough’’ again
Just save them and wait for your red comp credits to convert over and buy your golden weapon then

It is like this since the 4th Octobre, when drives was introduced
They did, yesterday, a 5gb update for the season 13 upcoming the 15th october,
but theres no patch notes at all, and golden guns bug is still there.
I really really think that they want to deploy a major bugfix with the season 13
But i dislike this move from blizzard that frustrated some players, even me, which have 6k competitive points and i’m obligated to waiting a whole new season to use them x)

Luckily, you do not have to wait out a full 2 month season, only 3 days before hell breaks lose.
It has been 13 days now.
Did they say anything at all? Will this be fixed with S13 patch tomorrow?
They haven’t said a darn thing about it and it’s upsetting because they’re not communicating with us about it
I think the thing that bothers me the most is this was supposed to be the reward system for the drives. In order to feel like you’ve earned something or gotten what was supposed to be given, things like this need to be fixed rather quickly instead of waiting on a patch for weeks at a time.
I mean it’s not just blizzard, it’s about every other gaming company with their poor customer service and late responses to anything. If this were anything like a cosmetic that was going to cause them to lose out on any possible income, it would be fixed instantly.
It’s now been 2 weeks. I love the blizz is always apologizing for not communicating, promising they’ll do better. They follow those promises by NOT communicating at all.

Over 9k points and cannot purchase gold weapons. Since there is a comp points limit (I don’t even know if it’s 3k or 6k, can’t find the info anywhere), will I lose out on getting more comp points at the end of the season because of this bug? If I can’t spend them, then I’m above the max

the bug has been addressed in the most recent patch notes and will reportedly be resolved upon season 13’s update tomorrow:
I wonder what this means for comp point maximums though. Because you can’t spend any, won’t you miss out on the end of season bonus if you’re above max?
You do not need to worry about that, since end of season rewards were removed a while ago…
